"Sinbad's Misery"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Of a Lost Love One

"Sinbad's Misery"

You are always on my mind
I can not break these ties, that bind

I can not keep you, from slipping in
You are my lover, my… my friend

Although it is a relief for me
Temporarily, relieved; freed

From time to time I keep time, yet still I am
Letting  you, silently slip back in

It seems, only and too often  I’ved
Sailed these Forbidden Seas

Encompassed by the pain, with
The jealousy, and plain old disdain

With never a hint of empathy
You showed me, no sympathy

The torment will not relent
Or was it too, heaven sent?

Your smiles traverse me so
Into my simple mind and my soul

Exploding, each and every memory
Every dream, I have ever dreamt of you

No comfort can I find, for still
I am a bit, dazed and confused

Still; not over you
Will I, that I’d never be, over you?

I can’t let you go
When will this tragedy play out?

Have you forgiven me?
Do you still remember me?

When did you stop loving me, with all of your heart?
Was it something that I done or that we could have fixed?

Why wouldn’t your kiss, be goodbye?
Was this one; at last too, that little lie?

It could have given me; a place, to start
Mending my broken soul and mine  heart

I forgiven you my dear
I’m forever wishing you were here

This is the end of me, my mate
Looks like love has sealed It my fate

Oh how I wished; you would have
Plunged that steel dagger, into me

You will see, I will love you
Forever and a day

"Talk to Me"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections From a Disillusioned Poet Preacher

 "Talk to Me"

Talk to me, O’ Lord my God

For I have shouted Him
I have potted Him
And sprouted Him

And I Have even
Doubted Him

Your Word
His words

But yet, I can not forget
About them and him
In the Bible I have read

Not Only of Him
But of, him and them and
Those men who sinned

The Son of God who bled
Those living and
The walking dead

The vineyard that was
Planted; and then
Stolen; hidden from the Son

A gardener who weeps
Our Father who sent those
Guardians; who did, but sleep

Now guarding those golden gates
Angels; who will tie up
The chains of; faith or fates

All around them
The little children
Is it to late; for love?

I worry of their Faith
Their loves and the state
Of their Estates

Those thrown down
Into Hell and how they
Do avail the Dainties and the Swells

Lost turtles surfing upon the serfs
And those who have forgotten about their shells
Those who have lost their homes

Impoverished
Stuck until the soundings of
Those angels’ seven horns

The lonely and the torn
The ones that, Jesus healed
And then sealed

Salvation, can it save?
Can we savor it?

Salvation! If only for once

I could feel it, as more real
For I am a rusted man, of steel

Bound; gagged, roped, and tied
For boldly I have tried and cried

But, yet again I have failed
Again to no avail, yet torn is the Vail

Please! Break the final seal
Pour out your Holy Zealots with their zeal

Whisper to me no more
For defiant I have become

Of those softly spoken words
I am sharpening my tongue

Talk to me

"Spoken With Out Words"` By Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections on a man's inability, to express his words aloud

"Spoken With Out Words"

Be careful dear, as a man I am unable

To speak as, the Poet does

I know you will hear me, if only

You would remember

As a man I fear the breaking of, my

Glass lips and porcelain heart

So I speak to you, with hands bound, and made of steel

Bound in leather, so you won’t feel

The coldness of their stealing touch

Of your healing and of your passions

My panoplied eyes, search your very soul

To see if the trust, be within you told

Your eyes must hear, they must care

You must not fear for the wants of my heart

It only wishes to share, yet it dares not, dare

For my skin it crawls, low and before your heart

In plain view, I bow about your feet

My head beneath them, when I smile at you

Enabled hearts must be careful dear; as they continually seek

As a man, I am unable to speak, as the poets do

With my glass lips and porcelain heart

My words are, but stones thrown about

They may break your bones, if not pierce your heart

My eyes see your wants; It wants, therefore to speak

But, it is only a porcelain heart

Trampled with, glass lips; and broken shards
