"I Pray I Prayed Today" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

A prayer by a wanting soul lost. She was my pride and my joy; she was not a plaything...

A lover's prayer, of want and his souls desire to be as he once was; and still to be loved, by her. She was the “One ” he held so dear.

"I Pray I Prayed Today"

Here me O’ Lord I pray

I do not think I can make it another day

Please return to me the “One” that walked away

She was my pride and my joy; she was not a plaything or wild fling

She was true blue, honest, and sincere

She was the “One ” I held so dear

She bore me two sons and a daughter

If together again, I promise a whole tribe, we will make for you

I deserve no forgiveness or mercy, again I know

Don’t do it for me, but for them

For I love them so

They also desire us to be, as we were

They have told me so, I know welcome here, to the real world

I have no feelings left in my bones, I now survive all alone

All I ever wanted was to be loved

I guess I did not know, what it was or how much it would cost

To lose or to replace it

Help me O’ Lord I pray, for now I am willing to pay

"A Limbo Before Hell" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of a Soul's Torment and Guilt

Reflections of a Soul before his, entering into the "Lake of Fire" and Everlasting Torment.

"A Limbo Before Hell"

I spied the immortal angel of death last night
I danced after him, after our fatal fight

The angel I saw was in disguise
He came to me as one of mercy, and one who was wise

As if in a dream, he came to me possessing the image of
Your elegant self, he came bearing gifts and kisses

With tears of remission, “ah but, him come too late”
For I was already stone cold, and turned immortal

And you were on your way, as always slow as the turtle

I awoke lost in the darkness, strung unto the greasy beam
It was set high and above a sea of moaning faces; oh how they gleamed

A dimly lit star was the only thing set above me

The beam on fire, tossing, and turning
Facing the faces that were moaning

I was strung upon it like that Jesus guy
Like he on his cross was, I

But, mine was a single board
Cut from deadwood a cord

That is continually singing down
Arms wide and feet dangling down

I was wearing a crown
My, own crown

Suspended over the oceans of sorrowing, souring faces
Souls dressed up and upwardly facing

I was set a fire and proclaiming no guilt as I spoke
But yet, I was not consumed, just pained and poked

The pain only weakened by the faces below
As each one proclaimed his history of woes

They revealed the unjust hurts, that they received
At the hands of their lovers, and this world of ours we all so believed

Now bathing in their and mine; our own proclamations, which only adds to our sting
We volley continuously for placement upon this beam

I have held this spot, upon this altar as long as I can remember
For now, it is all I can remember

As I am pushed to the floor, these oceans roar

As they rock and they roll; they all pull me under

For now my lover, she soars onto the beam

And then when there, I alone return unto the ocean’s floor demeaned

"So What Do You Believe In?"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of a Discontinued Warrior

"So What Do You Believe In?"

Last night the tear drops fell, as I screamed in utter anger
Although fast a sleep I was, she was wide awake and beside herself
With fears and tears
That I would go and leave her

She knew not where this was coming from
Or what had brought it on, or what it was
That which I was going through
Or what I was going to do

But, as usual she placed the blame upon herself and left me
See the pain it comes from somewhere deep within
Although she could not know it,  because it was hidden
In my deep, dark, and sorted past

I have taken many lives, and now I am alone at last I
In a protectors role, it is some times necessary to over look
Some of these takings, they were out of mercy, but, yet the last that I took
It was just, and not in or of my nature, It happened so unexpectedly
Quickly drawn upon by friendly fire, by a Gate Keeper
I took that young mans life

Before he could even squeeze the trigger
See he was in love with a young Navy WAVE
Who was being pressured by a Figure Head
I respected this man dearly

But, these thoughts of discontent
I did get wind of, and i turned my head
Now this young man is dead
By my hand but, the Commander he lives on
though my soul it be torn, I was reborn
Now it is only shown, while in my bed

When I am fast a sleep
My demons I alone, “They” I must keep
I was making advancements in my field of course

I swallowed many foolish lies, of Duty and of Honor
Though there are many of us who do it well
Some of us, must go through a living hell
Living secrete lives, and when we are under stress

From our daily living, up sneaks our misgivings
They attack us, when and where we are most vulnerable
In our dreams, they hide buried in our subconscious minds
Where the truth will always hunt us down
Weather it, for it maybe true or it maybe falsified
Or even a down right lie
But, yet!

This punishment we earn, doing that what we believe in
[The right to Truth, Life, and the Pursuit of Happiness]
Freedom rings for those who dare to hear it
And wish to achieve it

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray
My prey passes me by, and my secretes keep
Let no one enter in
Least they be neutralized

The secrete is the young man did not commit suicide

His life was taken by my hand
And the facts lie hid and buried
In contented lies

I was let go under doctors lies, and alibi’s
And now I live a life of discontent
So what do you believe in?

"The Poet" a story of Biblical per portions by Sinbad the Sailor Man Chapter One Continued

http://nut.bz/15sbvwma/

As the room is restored Donnie rights himself and gets to his feet. Wow! He says out loud as he assumes he is talking to himself, But suddenly he gets a clear line of sight and a focused view of Donald sitting there in the corner of the small room, I have did it again he softly mumbles and falls into his make shift bed.

I am trying to reconstruct this story from my notes and some of its postings at Neopoet.com

A short story in progress and progression from Sinbad the Sailor Man

http://nut.bz/v204z1bq/

The World's story as told by one man and his life and the living of it. Donnie, Douglas became enlightened at a tender age. Early on in his life at the age of twelve, one might say he had an awakening of a religious sorts?

This is my first real try at a story and it keeps evolving into a bigger and bigger story some day it may be completed.

Seeking the Seekers! What is happening in our 1/3 of God's World today?

http://nut.bz/1ydaj13u/

Is the World in the END Times? Is the writing on the walls? Is the hand of God showing, His people the signs of the coming and impending DOOM! If your asking This religious Zealot and his counter part, that would have to be a resounding Hell yes! For non-believers the doom and gloom is coming soon.

Disturbed by recent statements from Religious icons and TV super star Preachers the Poet writes a little write.
