"This Time"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

"This Time"

This time I see the Light

This time it will be alright

This time I... we will make it!

I got faith and you can't shake it

This time will be the time, we will not fail

Please Lord, let it be this time

Lord please, make it this time!

I am running out of time Lord

I got nothing left!

I must succeed!

Please Lord, a little help!

I will pray, I will believe, I won't fake it

This time

Keep my enemies at bay, and with my rewards

I will pay my ten percent

And I will be glad

This time

"Within the Shepherd’s Heart"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A Poetic Twist to the Tale of Pinocchio.

Within the Shepherd’s Heart

You! You have surrounded me with this plague
Oh Lord my God, you are poetic
With in you every thing is copacetic
We humans are, so pathetic
Goodness and humor are your favorite vices
Like the ventriloquists’ dummies; the things they say
They are your words; unknowingly
Master puppeteers’ are blissfully ignorant of their silence
You are our Shepherd with indifference
Ironically; your humor is bittersweet
It makes the marionette laugh and
The puppeteer becomes aware of its Master’s hands
The bleating sheep are yet to be sheared
With honesty and laughter you tear and tare
These earthen dummies with strings attached
Heartlessly; hands shoved into their backs
The heard needs one good whack across its back
To break all their strings, to replace halos and wings
To hear the Cherubim sing
Oh to hear those angels sing
To lead and guide
To carry and hide
To be gathered beneath their enormous wings
Attached but yet, without strings
Staffs in hand
Awaiting the golden bands
Announcements made
Time not delayed
The curtain it rolls away
The heathen is swayed
Lives reborn homage paid
Truth is now displayed
Clay pots broken; their silver cords part
One makes for a brand new start
They become real Sons’
Within the Shepherd’s heart

"Why Didn't I Grow Up to Be Ken?"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

You Know I don't think of myself as a person who whines to much but I just had to share this oldie here.

Why didn't I grow up to be Ken?

When I was just a child, I was filled with great notions of Duty and Honor

I played GI Joe's all day long, I never lost a battle, I always won

The enemy never stood a chance, because I never missed a salute or a flag running up a pole

I would, advance on fields of plastic men and their artillery

I'd capture each and every bad guy out there; none of them would ever get away

Now, it is me: I am finely getting my chance; I am going to protect our nation

I will fight with pride and honor; I'll die if I must, because it is an ingrained trust

I wish as when I was a child, and got shot dead, that I could hop right back up

And

Do it all, again for my love ones, at least until this war was won

But, here I am cowering deep inside, hiding from the unseen enemy

Wishing I would have played more with my sisters Barbie dolls

And their, Ken

Although I will tough it out, after all I am an American boy

When we were just kids, we play war from dusk till dawn, GI Joe's and dirt clod fights

We'd even take it as far as strapping on extra clothes and pulling out our BB, guns

We all were hard cases then, now it is the real deal, and I am the only one left

Johnny and Billy have gotten all blown upped, with the rest of our outfit

Heck they never saw it coming; they never heard a thing, just a flash of light

And

Then a long silent pause, a small hazing fog and a giant creator

Damn it all to hell!

Why didn't I just grow up and become one of  Barbie's  Kens?

"Who's to Blame?"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Who's to Blame?

The happenings of the ages, the wars, the destruction

The ups and the downs

History is said: to repeat itself

But, no longer is the world doomed to follow the path of a merry-go-round

Or
Is It

To repeat over and over like a broken record

Because, mankind has found a way to end this repetition

We have invented, an instant cure button

When war breaks out some poor fool will push It and end Our World's problems

Or
Could It Be That

Maybe, just maybe the "King of Kings" will come

Before it is necessary to use that button, before Time is forgotten

Some one once said: to me, "That man is programmed by his environment"

So I ask:

Who is to blame for mankind's destruction?

He that creates his environment

Or
Is It

The environment, that creates him?

Work In Progress~ "New Poem" Titled "A Dream is A Terrible Thing!"

New Work in Progress A poem I am working on.

"A Dream is A Terrible Thing!"

How Many Visions have I released?
How many have crept in and out of your befuddled minds?
Why have I wasted my Precious Time?

Three Four One
For every hour that I proceeded
Three little One's were Lost
My life of Vanity came at such a great cost

No Heavenly Treasures were yet sown
As my Father tossed skeems and dreams at me
These breadcrumbs succumb
As when or if they are tossed at the birds

I treated the Manna as the feathered beasts
I like them left only turds upon the ground
Mushy wet and messy; crumbs no longer found
Because I succumbed

To the whispering of  and from
The leathery  winged demons
of this
Our Earth

Their leader of their insidious pact
My subtle elder now our brother lost
Such music whispered upon my ears
But only once; yet still their soundings brought me tears

Daze and Confused yet only bruised
I settled when these resistors settled in
They magnified every single doubt within an with out
Melted about; defecated icing to top the cake

They decided they too; would try to train my brain
As did they the crabs from escaping their traps
These my Brothers not lost and yet not forgot
Kept me within their pot

How many chances would I have got?
Farther down the line there would be no more Time
No more wine
No more divine

I knew these things too!
And yet wasted I all kines their dreams and skeems
The very ones even I myself
Dreamed and than waited

Upon
to
Pounce and too
Devourer

"How Can This Human Heart Resist?"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?

Well as some songs go
Does anyone truly know?

They often just fade away
Some even fall far from the sun's golden rays

Forever never seeing the light of a new day; they've lost all hope
Others even get hooked on alcohol and/or dope; they've forgotten about prayer

They sit around and around always wearing their frowns
As a king does his crown; tilted just a little to one side

Re-living their past love affairs
Where there is left no air or Ares

Spirits sunk into the mire
Heartless, tired from lack of desire

They would die if the flesh would let them; some eventually do
Others their spirits just will not let them; and they don't
Yet, deep down inside souls burn forth with

Re-birth within their dying embers
A thought sparks hope and what is left of their desires

A seed is planted; a hatch-ling begins to breathe
The breath of air is this; that there is someone out there

As the fire-bird from these ashes did rise
So too a willing young Phoenix, may yet fly

We broken heart-ed souls can not stand to be sold or told
Nay not for a Love that was purchased so cheap
Even when the match was lit from heaven

These lost mates would wish you a better fate
These lovers would bid you to go onward with their quest

To dispel the Dark Princes decrees
For he always shouts! This; it was not meant to be

Punch that Sucker right in his mouth
And continue to breathe the God giving air

This I dare say is what a true lover wishes for their departed mates
Cuss the foolish fool who beckons to fate; before its to late

Remember for a heart to be truly broken, it first must be bound
To a Soul, a mate that was never truly found; but offered up

Then again mate do Souls truly exist?
Well how can they in a world of UN-Spirited men?

"The Biggest Challenge WHY Child?"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

The Biggest Challenge

 WHY Child?

What is it you perceive to achieve?
If You do Not Ask of me with belief
How will I Know that you truly believe?

What are you wishing for Child when you say
But Father Please! I do I do Father No pay
What is your Biggest Challenge Son What do you believe?

Again Child what is your Biggest Challenge?
Is it with My one and Only Begotten Son?
Father I do not Yet understand Why

Cry not My Child Your Ignorance is to be expected!
You My Child were stolen away
Forced to live in a land without Stay
No truth to behold None have you found

Since the day that your feet have hit the ground
A system I have put into Place
There is a Devil who goes about without a face

No trace of him can be found
But Confusion abounds whispering
Boarder Guards abound

No Ups No Downs Everything is turned upside Down
Back words thinking all men are sloppy
Thinkers
Babes who wounder about only unjustified tinkers

Child Listen Close to what I have to Say
Please Child
I wish not to lose any of you today

Do not Cry unto me
Child

The questions are thus
You must ask yourselves Your brothers
Your Sisters and Your Mothers

Even
Your enemies Too!

The neighbor who bumps into you
Please dear Every single one you meet
What is their biggest challenge Son
We have always been up to It here
Dear

But You!
My Child have just begun
The Work of It
Down there!

"Fire Engine Blues"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

A Little Bit of Poetry

The Child I once was and knew oh so well
Has faded into a harden shell

I won and lost a battle here and there
But, yet the war it rages everywhere

My wisdom; please do learn and over rate it
And yet, still others will always debate it

Faithful trust, just turned into holy rust and dust
Life was DE-veined, derailed, just a bust

I must, I must, I must
Postponed and deflated

Under rated I am lost; Twas some others fate
I entered into life; a little less, then late

Who dare try such a thing?
Whom could bare such; without heavenly wings?

Debased I cannot sing
Gone now to Is my wedding ring

With Burning Passions I am
Set a blaze; my internals yet rage

Bones and flesh are melted, as the Ice
I take one more hit, a final slice

Fathers and mothers now erased
A child left without a face

Flames grown cold and have over whelmed
Limbs reached, but yet deformed; and I burn, I squirm

I did forget that the flames rage was hot as hell
Yet still it was I that was not Burned

Sirens sound, fires flame
The loneliest of hues
The absence of my lovelies colors
My heart it is turning to ash
And I thrash and I thrash

Whilst I listen to the raging flames
The Fire Engines singing their Blues
My child's hood is now gone, forever gone

"Blooming Begonias (Coccinea) Sinbad?"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry About a Plant Description

Source: http://www.onlineplantguide.com/Plant-Details/240/

Blooming Begonias (Coccinea) Sinbad

Angel wings, pink flowers, can you hear them sing?

Coccinea T'is a Scientific Name?

Evergreen she exclaimed

Foliage with a silver sheen

Two parts of the sun one or two feet high

Springs and summers, bumble bees; no fly

Moderate rain easily restrained

No insects no disease well drained

Annually grown, but not amongst the weeds
Spirits rested and well at ease
They have earned their silvery wings

"Betrayed"~ A remembrance of Donald

But, Donald has not really fallen, he was lead out from Heaven by his brother Michael (the Lords forward Angel, and Donald's twin) and Gabriel. (God's Messenger)

Michael and Gabriel took Donald out from Heaven's Gates, and toss him to earth just before Satan’s betrayal “of Boasting Pride” and his turning of a third of Heaven's inhabitance.

"Betrayed"

I lost my dear brother that day, my better half

I was betrayed to the sea of men

And no longer do I defend the great halls of Heaven

That twisted day, I was thrown down and away

And from his memory I am lost

And now am i gone

This price, it had to be paid

i was young and naive unlike my shadow

My pride It to had gotten in the way

i fully followed the others, like a goat on a rope

Unknowingly being towed to an alter

A sacrifice, that would have split the heavens in half

It would have caused a great slaughter

And It would have disrupted the rule

Following all of our leaders then

We were all just angels when we did

And then came one man deionized, we called him

The Adam

Then the Evening came the plot was now thickened

Grabbed away from those who would betray that day

i was hid in the plain sight of day

Unseen by all i was

Cast amongst the waters now

i now sail these oceans blue

For those who have won now call me Sinbad

For sure sin is not good

Donald  I was once, and now am i just

I am plain  a brother too

Michael

Now our Lord's one and only Warrior

An Arched Angel, he was raised up

And i was cast down but only half the way

The first twins set in Heaven

Who stood before and behind our Lord

I Donald was betrayed, by Lucifer

He who ruled the third most part of Heaven

And now I am fallen; nor more

More or less than an angel

I must now keep the balance even

Until the "Lord's Day" of reckoning

But, hidden among men

I am not one of them

Therefore a Sailor

On the waves of endless men

A remembrance of Donald

"An Angel's Cry"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

As the Poet begins to write one of his very first poems. He begins to witness the fallen angel's, that Donald saw fall from Heaven, and then their encasement into the City of Atlantis, by God's Holy Spirit. As seen through the eyes of the Angel Donald, when at first it was seen and witnessed by him.

i’ve been alive three hundred thousand plus years

i've witnessed all that I can

i’ve seen a single tear amass and turn into streams

 When rivers they become

Filling the depressions upon the lands

 Lakes they became

Dammed up unwilling to break

 When broken torrents they became

Rushing the land masses cutting and gorging the lands; as with hands

Mighty rivers streaming to the seas; they became oceans

A falling angel not yet fallen

A brother of the mighty Michael

The one who cast that old Dragon out

That sinful devil; so full of pride

It is he they hide me from

Because from betwixt his lips, he did but dare kiss me

 With a lie

they will take Him from Us they will you know"

These humans, they must go

We were first you know this much, is true

The Mighty One has uncannily harmed Us by letting them reproduce

Let Us not take the hurt

A war We must make

We deserve Our just desserts

i was thrown from heaven; down to the earth by my dear brother

Our Lords Warrior”

and one other

Before the war: Lost in the aftermath

of

The Great War

Micheal's brother, his mind erased of all but where he came from

And not why he is here now

my God He hides His face from me, and i do not understand

my wings have been torn away

 Away from me they are

For i am no more a citizen of Heaven's sweet land

But, now a citizen of this earth

Yet , my reproduction is given me

 Just not my rebirth

i’ve been walking this ball of clay for umpteen years

Without my brothers or sisters; if you will

Now all of us, just lambs

Baying

"A Limbo Before Hell"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Reflections of a Soul before his, entering into the "Lake of Fire" and Everlasting Torment.

I spied the immortal angel of death last night

as I danced after him, after our fatal fight

The angel I saw was wearing a disguise

He came to me as one who was full of mercy, and one who was wise

As if in a dream, he came to me possessing the image of

Your elegant self, he came baring gifts and kisses

With tears of remission, “ah but, him come to late”

For I was already stone cold, and turned immortal

And you were on your way, as always slow as the turtle

I awoke lost in the darkness, strung unto the greasy beam

It was set high and above a sea of moaning faces; oh how they gleamed

A dimly lit star was the only thing set above me

The beam on fire, I was a tossing and a turning

Facing the faces that were moaning

I was strung out upon It like that Jesus guy

Like he on his cross, was I

But, mine was a single board

Cut from deadwood; a cord

That is continually forever singing down

My arms wide and my feet dangling down

I was still wearing a crown

My, own crown

Suspended over the oceans of sorrowing, souring faces

Souls dressed up afire and upwardly facing

I too was set a fire and proclaiming no guilt as I spoke

But yet, I was not consumed, just pained and poked

The pain only weakened by the faces below

As each one proclaimed his history of woes

They revealed the unjust hurts, that they received

At the hands of their lovers, and this world of ours we all so believed

Now bathing in theirs and mine; our own proclamations, which only adds to our sting

We volley continuously for placement upon this beam

I have held this spot, upon this alter as long as I can remember

For now, it is all I can remember

As I am pushed aside and pulled to the floor, these oceans roar

As they rock and they roll; they all pull me under

For now my lover, she soars unto the beam

And then when there, I alone return unto the ocean's floor demeaned

"My Friend is No Friend"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of a True Friendship

"My Friend is No Friend"

Down on my luck again

My so called friend

Took back his truck again

Although he, didn't have need of it

He has a parking lot full of them

Yet he needed the one I was driving then

I have done more for this guy, then he deserves

But, who is counting?

I guess I am, I guess?

Sometimes I believe it is just me

And all the excuses I make

For God’s sake and my soul’s place in Heaven

I go way out of my way for my friends

And yet they pretend to be, like me

And yet they aren't, but again who is counting on me?

I guess just me

People say, I am too nice and to forgiving

That may be true but, who am I not to be?

To be me, and to be just in this way

It is just the way I am

And this way I will stay

In spite of myself and every one else

For sure enough I’ll soon be back on my knees again

Praying

For all that I lost or that was giving away to me, this day

My Friends don’t realize that none of it, was mine to begin with

That it is not me that they would profit from

But from Him that gave to me, His one and only Son

His little Lamb, this Son of Man, His begotten Son

That is who they would profit from

Although we don’t see eye to eye He has always

Stood by me, even when I have pushed Him away

He gave to me this only begotten son, why?

He, gave Him, to me to suffer and to die

To me He gave Him, to bleed for me

To be crucified, and to be criticized for me

To bare My sins, He gave me Him!

And then He, would still let me, back into their lives

To my Friend I bow down for and cry, forgive me Lord

You’d! Better believe It!

For my friend is no longer just my friend, He is my GOD

And His Son is my Life’s only Savior

I say: praise be to my friend, the Lord Jesus Christ

I hope you will give him a chance

To be your friend

"The Perfect Lie"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: The Poet is Describing the Perfect Lie in Metaphors and Similes

"The Perfect Lie"

The busy bees keepers of the fruits

They keep care of the nectar and it’s juice

Ninety nine, point nine,nine,nine percent

as troy ounce’s go, pure silver and gold

An elastic band that stretches then snaps

Back on the one who’s hand It twas attached

He who would wield it

At some one to hurt

Beware!

It would roll off of one's tongue

as would unbroken water

or

drool

It would drip to the floor and stick to the bottom

of one's shoes

These words themselves believe that they are true

Seldom can they convince those words that follow

That they indeed are lies

So in being told over and over become folklore or truth

Within reason or until they are out of season

Unsalted as a meal they are bland

Never made into a big deal or a banquet

But, turned over and over as fallen leafs

By the blowing winter winds that never cease

Where this deception begins and truth ends

No one can tell or at least recall

Is any of It real?

Is life but a dream

 by
 the stones in the field?

Have they made us all up?

Or

Is it a drunken bees dream

Filled to the top with nectar from a butter cup

The best lies my friends
are

Misdirected and redirected
 time and time again

By masters of deception; the men in black and gray suits

Some are judges and defenders
 others they just prosecute

A special place in hell is reserved for them

Even the most pure are
 but drunken bees

They leave stingers whenever they land

And
They regurgitate sugar coated vomit at best

Send them all away!
And
Let the townsmen decide

Oh but dear God
Who then will hear the case?

And
What sentence will suffice
The
Injured ones taste?

"Songs of Old"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

This Poet is using song titles as a way to relate his feelings to his lost lover: These Words, Their Rhymes, Wring Out Such Pain In Me, I've Even Stopped Believing

"Songs of Old"

Since you left me; I can’t do anything but weep

I sit and cry to the songs of old

It’s hard to keep a good man down; so here is a list of songs

So you may know

What makes it easy;

They are so full, of my emotions

It’s Crying Time Again; she’s going to leave me

Walk On By, My Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain

Man; my heart, so full of pain but, I’ll keep on singing

He stopped loving her today you are now, Bobby Goldsboro's  "Honey"

I’m losing my mind, I can’t think or work

Take This Job and Shove It

These words, their rhymes, wring out such pain in me

I've even stopped believing

I know now; It’s Only Make Believe

I am so tired of; Goodbye Time

Counting Flowers On the Wall and these Four Walls That Surround Me

The Grand Tour and Fifteen Years Ago

Baby you know, that I've sung this one here, when I've been Drinking

She Got the Goldmine and I Got the Shaft

Please darling; come back to me and melt

You’re Cheating Heart

Because, I am Crazy about  you

"Somebody to Share You With"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

Immediately I begged for her forgiveness; With a single finger to my lips
And tears in her and mine eyes
Yes she said: I am willing too

"Somebody to Share You With"

I almost got it right, last night

It was going to be my last try

After all of these years, of trying

I had her head spinning
All the day long

With looks that would even melt
Your stone cold heart

With loving words, that needed no defining

With my swaggering walk

I took her to Gepeto’s

Did you know, now you need reservations

Eighteen months in advance
But yes, you already knew that
I am never hidden from you
We sat at that same old table

 The small elegant one

You remember

The one way in the back

The one with the golden silverware

And

The silken napkins you remember dear?

As I teased with you, I do her too

I

Placed the cream colored velvet box

Silently upon her plate

But only after knocking the bud vase over

And to the floor as I did yours

The only difference was, her ring

It was placed in a misshapen box
One that would reassemble

A bracelet, or a locket's Box

For I knew, she knew, that I still loved you

With all my heart, even though you can not

Physically compete for it anymore as before

Not, that you would have too, my dear

You have beaten out, all Comers

Jac' replaced the bulb; as he did before

With jewelry light; intense and bright

When she had opened that box and saw

The thing

Jac' he then hits the table lights

Its facets destroyed the table setting

With their glittering, their sparkling

Every single Facet was all a glow

And then

Her smile; she flooded my heart

With pure hope

 And then

I went and blew it

I was one vowel off

An O for an A

I called my darling Danna, Donna

I immediately, begged, for her forgiveness

With a single finger, to my lips

And with tears in her eyes and mine

Yes she said; I am willing, to share you

With her memories

And that was it

I will no longer miss

Missing you
