"Under the Weeping Willow Tree" ~By Sinbad the Sailor Man

A Story Poem, of Life's Hard Choices and Reflections of Loves Failings, Pro-Life! It Is Not a Choice!

The author is attempting to relate three generations and never imply a actual personage, but instead an actual time-line of events, common in our world today. Pro-Life! It Is Not a Choice!

"Under the Weeping Willow Tree"

A gift was given to the world wrapped up with out an ounce of love or joy
It grew a short bit of time until it was found out it might have been a boy

A young wounded child of God or not, taught by society to fear our Father not
This young lass feared the rebuke and the responsibility of bearing such a thing, this ill-gotten fruit

Little Darling labored hard in her decision of life or death she wished to fore go her first real test
She remembered she had always wished to be loved and wondered if she could destroy some others

Dreams, now given away

Poor Little, Darling has never believed in much of anything, she never felt her mother’s touch, for her Mother was put away
Raised in the Hellish Orphanage where the Devil wielded the caretaker’s hands

Poor Little, Darling always thought there was more to this world of filthy lucre and liquor
She has seen it in others, in their mothers eyes, were these too, just lies?

Poor Little, Darling wondered how and why she has lived the life she has lived
In disgust Poor Little, Darling wanted it not for this child she thought she could not love, but in her sadden views

Shown a bit, a little light on the paper that she read, atop of her new found Bible book
In an odd ad that read; please help! Young couple wants child badly they pleaded in desperation

We will pay fifty thousand plus expenses there was a brief description of their qualifications
A young handsome couple with everything money could buy and very thing a child could want

Or so this young, life-lined, schooled, girl thought

Than Poor Little, Darling began to wonder can a soul be bought? Even Christ paid, but He left the choice up to us
What should I do? That she could not decide as she sat on that lonely park bench, the one she had often placed her head in

Her empty folded hands, she clenched as she cried, why? Why me, Lord why, me? What should I do? They could be cruel too
Should I send this child back to you?

Just than came along old Tom a black cat, purring and wagging his tail
Poor Little, Darling knew him all too well, as she sat often and fed him scraps of her scraps

She begun to pet and talk to him when just then, fell upon the thick green lawn, from the heavens above
A baby sparrow’s throne, thrown out from her nest; the young chick had failed to fly her first test

This confused little darling, landed alright, but floundered a bit and then ran under the very bench were Poor Little, Darling and Tom sit
Now Tom was all excited a free lunch he thought, but Poor Little, Darling would not let that old cat go, to claim this prize

So Tom began to meow and too cry, but she held him tight
As Poor Little, Darling sat there and cried a young bearded man passing by asked her why?

Then He seen the fallen sparrow chirping and Tom hissing and clawing
He scooped the young chick up and gently told her to fly back to her low lined nest

Into the Weeping Willow Tree, she fluttered a while and then from out of his hands
This lady of the light she took flight, Poor Little, Darling then let that old cat go

As Tom danced around the bottom of the tree
Poor Little, Darling she turned instantly; to try and thank the young man, but he had to be on his way

As He went He said: ”Have a good day and may The Father bless you”
She wore a slighted smile as He walked away, her decision she just then made

Life is a gift, one mustn’t throw it or give it away

"The Girl in a Bottle" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A Drunken Sailor Walks a Secluded Beach, and Spy's Something Upon the Sands

The death of a fabled being, or the discovery of one?

The Jewel Encrusted Bottle

"The Girl in a Bottle"

I found her there beside the ocean fair

Cold and motionless; in an antiquated black

Bikini

She was pale white and quite a sight to behold

Although she appeared alive she was most assuredly

Dead

What could have befallen this lovely creature?

Her hair was not golden or brown, but more a burnt auburn

She was of medium height; and such a delight to behold

Her frame was architecturally sound and well constructed

A lovely girl, bejeweled; with gold, gem stones and silver

She was picturesque

Beside her laid a mysterious jewel encrusted bottle

I picked it up and popped the top off

With a small and sudden pop

Came a meek, pink tempest, it raced about quite proficiently

It encompassed her, lifting her body above the sand

The only movement was the whisking of her ponytail

As she started to whirl around and around

Then with an astounding “poof” the body, it was gone

And so was that bottle

I lighted down to the ground, and sat, and pondered

To what drink was I on, was it bad, was I mad?

or

Was this my Genie's burial?

"Somebody to Share You With"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

Immediately I begged for her forgiveness; With a single finger to my lips
And tears in her and mine eyes
Yes she said: I am willing too

"Somebody to Share You With"

I almost got it right, last night

It was going to be my last try

After all of these years, of trying

I had her head spinning
All the day long

With looks that would even melt
Your stone cold heart

With loving words, that needed no defining

With my swaggering walk

I took her to Gepeto’s

Did you know, now you need reservations

Eighteen months in advance
But yes, you already knew that
I am never hidden from you
We sat at that same old table

 The small elegant one

You remember

The one way in the back

The one with the golden silverware

And

The silken napkins you remember dear?

As I teased with you, I do her too

I

Placed the cream colored velvet box

Silently upon her plate

But only after knocking the bud vase over

And to the floor as I did yours

The only difference was, her ring

It was placed in a misshapen box
One that would reassemble

A bracelet, or a locket's Box

For I knew, she knew, that I still loved you

With all my heart, even though you can not

Physically compete for it anymore as before

Not, that you would have too, my dear

You have beaten out, all Comers

Jac' replaced the bulb; as he did before

With jewelry light; intense and bright

When she had opened that box and saw

The thing

Jac' he then hits the table lights

Its facets destroyed the table setting

With their glittering, their sparkling

Every single Facet was all a glow

And then

Her smile; she flooded my heart

With pure hope

 And then

I went and blew it

I was one vowel off

An O for an A

I called my darling Danna, Donna

I immediately, begged, for her forgiveness

With a single finger, to my lips

And with tears in her eyes and mine

Yes she said; I am willing, to share you

With her memories

And that was it

I will no longer miss

Missing you

"But It's a New Day Now"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Alone Again; Double the Trouble, Double the Fun I Would Have Wished, That You Would of Become a Nun

"But It's a New Day Now"

Holy cow!

It’s the twins birthday and the day that you went away

You left them here with me to stay

So now we travel on day by day

On this here so called river of life

Its winding bends

Its twists and turns

Its ice cold rapids

Always shocking my nerves

They with their giggles, tears, and fits

We are winding down now into the Seas of Adversities

But we, they and I are getting to It and through It

My dear wife this is our new life

The terrible twos are long since gone

Now I thank God, for this

I just couldn't handle that again

 All alone again

Double the trouble and yes double the fun

But still!

I would have wished, that you would of become a Nun

If I had to do it all alone, again I mean

I would never change that day

Down at that lake, late in June 1982

The day you and Mary Lou floated in

On those deflating inner tubes

Giggling so hard; you both had tears, in your eyes

As you cried; I watched you

And you seen right through to me

By August you were mine and I was I your’s too

We owe it to that lazy river, it’s where we all grew up

Where we  all went to play

In those wondrous summer days

I took our little ladies tubing today

Down at that lazy river

There they were; turning blue, in their polka dotted bikinis

The water still is crystal clear, my dear

Ice cold they, refused to go they so remind me of you and Mary Lou

You remember, the river dear It flowed down into Devils Lake

The secret cove, the swimming hole

Were you and I became one

I remember you on that day  always

But it's a new day now

"An Injured Soldier"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A Falling Angel's Reflections on His Time Here on Earth, When He Strayed From His Mission at Hand

"An Injured Soldier"

As I sit and ponder the incurring sentences

Of my time on this earthly plain; for all of my insurrections

While in my fathers army; I was a miss guided youth

Of many years in need; to be reprieved

From my uncertainties; and  my indiscretions

I followed the others like a goat on a rope

I had no thoughts of my own and I liked it that way

Then one day you came flittering by

With flowers in your hair; love struck, stars in your eyes

You made my heart leap through my hardened breast plate

I dropped my sword, my spear, and shield, I took my helmet off

 I was defenseless

I began to have thoughts of my very own

 I walked upright and fearless

Then you left, stuck my heart on a spit

And slow roasted it over a pit of sorrow

 Hotter than any hell’s fire

My darling Sprite, you were such a delight

No matter the cost, I’d suffer it all over again

"Damn Old Pickup Truck"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Story Poem, About a Vehicle That Gives Up the Ghost, When It is Needed Most

"Damn Old Pickup Truck"

I came home broken and busted up

I damned that old pickup truck

To hell and back with every step I took

I lost a another battle with it

And

 At the worst of times

It sits sunning itself down the road

And it refuses to start again an on this day!

As I entered the long drawn out dirt driveway

I was completely downhearted, I felt I had lost my way

Until I see them there standing all and in a row

Arms flung wide open, hugs and tears bless my soul

Sobbing and kissing, by heck

Arms all around and about my neck

My Sweet Pea and Honey bee’s

They cheer me on every time

 Come on Daddy!

Go and get that old thing started

We must be to church on time...

Grammy’s there, she’s waiting

She has got her new dress on

She’ll be upset with us

If we are late this time...

No my dears, we won’t be late

Grandma, she will wait for us

Even if, it is only at Heaven’s pearly gates

"Baby's First Day of School "~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A Father's Little Girl, and Her First Day of School With a Sudden and Deadly Twist

"Baby's First Day of School"

She has been plotting all week long
Sleeping mat and a little back pack
Crayola Crayons and containers of finger paints

Our little girls first day of school

Tape, paste, and a pencil box
No more is she a baby

Now she is Daddy’s little lady
Soon she will be making picture’s made from macaroni
She squeals: "With hearts and stars"

Daddy says: "He’ll be waiting"
She is so excited, she is pacing at the door
She is in a hurry;
"Okay, okay" says: mommy, with a smile

I am ready, hurry kiss my daddy, lets go
Hey! Daddy shouts, where is my kiss goodbye
Shoulders drop feet shuffle across the floor

Okay but, only one more! Because I am in a hurry

A quick peck and a tight hug around his neck and
out the door they scurry

My little Betty Crock-er, made me blue berry muffins again

But, that old toaster, burnt my Eggo’s, why...? God only knows
Ah well, the muffins will have to do, as I butter them
Their aroma’s fills the air

I figured by this time
You and baby where half way there

As I get the call a steak of fear rips right through me

And out the door I run

Forgetting the muffins and my gun

The radio starts chirping

And then screaming hits the air

With lights and sirens blasting

I make a bee line for the school

Hoping to beat you there

A fire ball

The tanker split into

The parking lot and the building were a blazing

The heat, the heat, metal is melting

No flesh remaining!

These were the visions in my head

I fell to my knees, wishing I too were dead

Then a little known hand and a wedding band

Are placed upon my shoulders

A cry of relief now fills the air

"Then Came Baby, Blue"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of a Troubling Pregnancy

"Then Came Baby, Blue"

I told you I wanted a baby girl; big mistake
Me and my big mouth; now what will it take?

I strained and restrained to eat those words again
Because of the risk you would so selfishly make

I told you: "Most people believe that blood is thicker than water"
I said: "Water is the blood of the universe and it is pure to all who live in it"

What do you mean? You said:

I said: "When blood freezes it destroys its self when boiled it turns to dirt or blackened ash"

Water I said: "When frozen it gets hard but is not changed; for it is charged"
I continued:
"When boiled it becomes a mist and soon becomes the rain; turning back from once it came."

I said: "It matters not to me who they be who they become that is what matters to me"

You still did not get my point!

I said again: "You are so precious to me I would not take the chance"

Although your faith in the matter I did not question

It was just natures way of advancing

That is what scared me to death

I said: "I know it matters to you that you feel this child grow in side of you"

I said: "A womb is just a room"

And were you were concerned

I could not take that chance!

Again you would not hear me

I pleaded to myself; in my mind
I did not want to risk being left behind
 because of
The risk you wished to take

I would deny you if only I could
But, because of who I am
I could not

 Free Will
Is ingrained inside of me
To the very members of my soul

So the matter was solved
And then came our baby blue

"You Don't Know Me!"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A Rant of Self!

 "You Don't Know Me!"

You don’t know me! No one can
I am a mystery even to me, I am
A foreign man in a forbidden land

Living lies, alibi’s, secrets cry
No soul for it is gone; stolen
From a child as easily as candy

Now the man sustain by Brandy
Red blood wine and barrels of beer
Dissipating fears; my dear, the leers

Staring silently at an empty shell
A man residing in Hell
Trying to escape daily

Only to return from whence he came
Contemplating plainly; life is but a game
No more Lions to tame

Stuffed mammal’s have become reptiles
Turtles without shells
Blood suckers mainly

I once was a saint twas clear
Never an ounce of fear
Not even a twitch until that bitch

Gutted and De-veined me; design for her dinner
And me thinking I was the winner
What did she think

That I’d be taken by a wink
She has thrown at me everything
Including the kitchen sink

She too thought she knew, me
And just like you, she left me
I see flames, but feel no pain

For I am an empty shell
For none can pretend to see
I admitted it! You don’t know me

"Child's Play"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Tragedy Befalls Us All, and When We Least Expect It

"Child's Play"

Red light, green light, let’s stay out all night

Red rover, red rover, please send Sweet Pea on over

One, two, three, and ABC’s are you still in love with me?

Bubble gum, bubble gum, in a dish how many kisses do you wish?

Engine, engine, number nine, oh girl you feel so fine

Shimmy, shimmy, coco pop I love you and I won’t stop

Jumping jacks, jumping rope, baseball cards, and comic books

Super balls and shopping mall, my darling we did it all

Five and Dime just wasting time

Picnicking, down by the lake, what’s that you say!
 We are late?

Our first car, our first home, my you’re such a pretty lady

Push now! Here he, comes, now we have our son

One more time, here she comes, our little lady

Sweet Pea I love you so, you just do not know

Then all three of you upped and left me

From bumper cars, to chicks in bars
From jumping rope, to shooting up dope

It was just to much to bare
Losing all of you there

From: Water balloons and shooting the moon
To: Wishing to God; it will, all be over soon

I miss you all so, you just do not know

"A Tulip is Only, But a Flower"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections about Pro Life in Nature

"A Tulip is Only, But a Flower"

As pretty maids wait in rows, their twists of fate unfold
So then do the desires of these newly conceived flowers
They burst from bulbs and/or sprout from seeds
They proceed on the grounds of mankind's turf
From around and about a dead man's tomb

Or in their mothers womb, our earth
Their budding tells the tale of life's rebirth
Their only worth to be a blessing for the bees
They perfume our world and bring forth new seed
Bright yellows, dark reds, brilliant whites, and deep purples

Accented with stems of green, fresh air is being born
Straight towards the heavens the air, it is sent
Fragile tiny cups, with tales yet to be unfolded
With broken handles gone, no shelf to be put upon
Banishment now made, only lawns of green are seen

When reviled, their scene becomes so serene
So vital they are but, yet when plucked
It becomes so final, they die
Deep within nectar was lain there, inside
Waiting to be supped up by cheery little butterflies

Busy bees and humming birds
Or by those pesky flies use to dinning on turds
Within them lies a mystery, a great debate
By accident, design, or fate
They were seeded and put into play

But, now the ripping of the petals torn, we love them not
Who willed them here, and who decides their fate
Feared  by us, hated by us, and ashamed they made us, its now too late
They whispered, they shouted, let us out, let us be, let us grow
But, no we'll de-seed and have it our way, it is after all our time to live

Ripped from their beds alive, confused and in pain
You tossed us into their bloody metal tray
And then we all are betrayed to the compost heap
What force commanded us to come and grow
The two lips of God, human desires, or evil unseen

It matters not, we will all be feasted upon by  the worms
A Rose is but, a prickly tease
A Danny Lion roars for sure
Because he is just a weed
And Baby's Breath is what? Is not

Another choice played out , how many do we get?
Bounced into play, on bending knees and yet the ball was dropped
So  a tulip is, but a flower
And the oaths of men are, but words
When pulled; they all lie in the dirt, and are lain to waste

"Love Conquers All"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of the Disillusions, About Loves Almighty Power

"Love Conquers All"

I too; once believed that this old nursery rhyme was true
For now my eyes are weeping and my brain is battered and bruised

Fish eyes, dried and raspberry foam, have come to replace this; fairy's tale
For now I am  dreamless and all alone; scared and scarred

I was a champion too, a defender of; this encouraging lie
For this fairy tale; I would behead O-gars and defile deadly Demons

For I was so, convinced of Its truth
I myself forgot, it was just a nursery rhyme, meant to sooth

Oh wear on me Soothe-say er grind me down once more
Tell me the tale
Whisper it once more

Its sweet words into my ears
For life is now unholy and so full of our tears

I wish again, to dream as lovers do
Bring me back from the other side

Let me, not die here in the silence and the dark
 but
Brighten my spirit and lift my heart

PitCures in Time

Poem: The Healing Powers of Memories and Pictures Stored

A snap shot frozen in time
Weathered in vinegar or wine

Pixels spread in hues of reds, yellows, and  greens
A scene is seen; a clip of time instilled in ones mind

Black and white or blazing in Technicolor
Never any worry of any other

Albums collected and stored
Maintained, oh what a chore

A labor of love for sure
Whenever I recall my memories from

Never realizing I was under the gun
From times beginning tale; the world spun

Oh whatever, I did feel the nudge
And I can recall the feelings rendered
For time served; oh fudge

I wish I could crawl right back in
Into some of my lost shots of sin

All my wide grins, tin cans, and sand
The wedding, the golden band; your tan

To crawl back in bed with you once more
The things I would change; for that once more

Some say they would not change one thing
Oh God; dear sir, I place no blame on anything

But the focus of the shots
If time could be re-bought
For I was playing in a rigged game

How was it, I kept from going insane?
Was it the music playing deep within my brain
Or was it the beat to the continual rain?

Where are all these cares stacked?

Am I this ages Job?
Or is it my frontal lobe?

Will this story's truth ever be told
I did sell my soul for glimpses of gold

Would I sell it once more?

You bet!

                      "My Callous Hands"

My callous hands work through out the day
They work continually trying to eek out a position in this old dirty world
In so doing they have become thick and rough and oh so tough
When young I was the world turned so slowly; my hands were ever so smooth
Never ever did I seem so lonely; I was easily relieved and received

But seasoning and wine have me serving time alone
I've callously turned my eyes away from my youthful dreams
Blistered my hands and my mind one might say
I have over worked them

My callous heart it beats precisely and only as it needs
For in younger days it fluttered and dance nearly flew
At every chance of romance it would beat
As native drums would beat; those that were on the path
Singled out from the war of love; now my heart willingly rests

It would not beat at all, if this tongue of mine
Could give up the chocolates and the sweets or the bitters and the wine
Dry, cracked, and scarred I fold these callous hands

On bended knees I plead, Father please, hear me
Dear Lord I am a broken man, please take me, as I am
If you can heal me once again, please do
Use me too, to do your deeds, use me please
For I need, to be needed, yes I do

Dear God in Heaven I am begging of you
Do not let me rot away, here in this dirty old world, today
At least not in this way, broken and torn

A prayer I have written, on my calloused heart
Callously written by, my calloused hands

Distasteful Lies and Butterflies

Poetry: Reflections on a Father's Love

As I sat in an uneasy chair, distraught with anger and despair

Next to our daughter in the ICU and all I thought about, was you

I told our little one: ”All would be fine in time”

That's what I said: I told her she was too young, too sweet, and too dear

For the Lord not to leave her here, this world needed her: I said

I told those distasteful lies, for down in the pit of my soul, I felt the butterflies

For I knew all too well that she would be taken and soon

As I sat and kept watch over her she nodded off to sleep

The “Angel of Death” he came into the room, near unto us

I grabbed for his bony hand I caught it! And I held on tight to it!

I would not let it go, a death grip I had placed upon It

He had to known the mistake he was about to make

I had hope that I could make him understand but, I could feel her fate

My soul cried unto It's self please! Just this once Dear God cut me a break!

The loss of another, I or this angel could not take!

See I said: I lost her mother some years ago

Though she stands here by our daughter now and with her new man

As they gazed at me; her hand in his, their pretenses and presents

Shook me to my very core

For I myself stood looking down at my flesh and looking up into Heaven's back door

I bent over and whispered into my daughter's ear

I told your mom I'd be fine

Don't worry about me this time!

Dear one; I am use to being left behind

Those butterflies leaped out from my chest, but only one tear drop mounted upon my right cheek

I doubt that she saw it; as she had nodded back off to sleep

I slept with the angels last night mom

She told her mother of her last dream

Where is dad?

The curtain was drawn

I wish he was here with us now

I thought I saw him leave, with the most beautiful nurse

Why would he go and do that, to me?

He told me not to worry

He said: that your new man would care for us now

That he caught a break and he had to take it, that he'd be gone for along while

He said that he'd be able to see us whenever he wanted, and that we could only picture him here

He said that he was sorry for all that went wrong

To think of him often for it would not be long

Till we are all back together again, as it was suppose to be

Little Peggy drifted back to sleep

Then they wheeled her father's carcass out the door

When we arrived at the back door of Heaven

I was still clutching that angel's bony hand

We were stopped instantly! And so I begun my plea, I told Saint Peter, I was so sorry for being late

His reply to me; was: “Oops there goes a butterfly” and then he motioned us over

On our knees we fell at once I begged for forgiveness and I told him of the lie

Saint Peter smiled and said; “An unselfish act can't be undone my son”

I saw him look down his nose and over my shoulder; at the angel, who was behind me now

“For once you crossed this threshold your soul has won"

With that said, he pushed me in and slammed the front gate

It Seems to Me

Poetry: Another of this Authors, Poems from Night School 1981-82

That air is free, but the beer is not

Love is for the taken, but it can be bought

Friends are like flowers, they bloom and multiply

But, all too often they soon wither and die

Only to be re-lived in ones cluttered mind

It seems to me that

Life is not meant to be judged or dissected as some often do

But, it is to be enjoyed by me and you

For it is, but a brief moment in this time and space

That we all have

No one, but God knows his plan

He numbers the hairs on each head and every grain of sand

He placed the moon up above it gives off, just the right glow

Romantic some might say, so

So why do we explore the space up above

Let us stay down to earth, and explore this thing called love

Why is this My most Important Blog?

Well for one it is Monetized, which only means it is able to make money not that it makes mountains of money. That only happens when impressions are made on the ads and this would have to happen every minute of the day to make enough to make a living, but this is only one part of the income stream I have and it does and it will have greater potential to earn for me as it and I grow.

This Blog is a stop off on the income stream or the traffic wheel that I am and have been building and putting to work. I am still creating it, it is only about nine months old now and I have two others at Wordpress.com that are not monetized yet, I will do that when their traffic stats indicate it is time for that and that will be done at Wordpress.org or so I am told that is where I'll have to do it.

But, this Blog contains most of what is at these other two Blogs do  and they are a stop offs or landing pages for my website. This Blog will be the first to make the pennies from all this traffic I am driving in a circle with hints and tips and poetry and articles.

This is one of those places where I am telling those who read my writes and poetry and other stuff what it is that I am trying and doing to drive this traffic and get my SEO working for these sites, that I am at and working and playing around with. X marks the spot I think that is what you see on a treasure map. I think of it right now more as one mans garbage is another mans treasure.

I am A search-able website with several SEO devices working within and with out of it which aids in driving traffic to my three hubs of this traffic wheel. This is the site where my writes and some hints and tips are laying around right in front of your eyes. I am not going to tell you all, but I will tell you some things. No one told me and I picked it up and you can too. Its free information right now and will be for some time, but you will have to search it out and dig it up.

This Blog is my beta my test run it is what I am testing and trying as, I am earning while I am learning and so can you! It is work I won't lie too you. You will need to read and pay attention to the details, but it is not hard stuff for anyone that has the desire to create a web site and a traffic wheel with income streams Come and Play, Grow as you Go, come follow me and explore the possibilities, there everywhere and I love to share what I have learn and what is working. Wow All, I just got some great News from Alexa on my Dot ORG

http://www.sinbadthesailorman.org or PW&OSfStSM or Poetry Writes and Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man Dot ORG has reach a traffic rank of 3,999,961 Globally and a Traffic rank of 400,440 here in the USA. Wow I am happy and now scared if I will be able to keep up with the Growth, but I am going to keep on trying.

A little while back I decide to go a head and get the other two domains just in case I got lucky enough to be lucky. I believe I did this about August Fifth of last year 2010 Actually I did this with the Belief I was going to succeed and It might seem a little bold of me to state so now, but I am a Believer. I believe if you plant seeds they will grow. I may not be the one who will receive the harvest, but that is Ok I am still going to try and reap whatever comes from the harvest.

Here I was worried and it would seem I am doing fine! On the other end of the spectrum I have been checking the dot Com mostly I thought they would all have the same numbers and traffic stats, but I was wrong again. And I don't mine being so today. Wow that is so, so cool. Remember I am using out dated and incomplete operating systems. So if I can do it! You Can Do It as well. I wish I could better relate the information I have collected and learned to you all, but I am trying.

My site is defining its self as I grow and go. I am still earning pennies like I said from the beginning and I suspect I will for a while longer yet, only because I am still learning how to optimize my ads and Adsense. I am still a spec of dust on Mr. Horton's little Clover. When compare to others sites here on the WWW. I am still very new and  yelling at the top of my Lungs I am Here! I am Here! And I am going to keep trying to be seen and heard.

That little piece of information from Alexa has just made my day and I feel rejuvenated and motivated to keep this all up and moving forward. Full steam ahead Toot! Toot! I think I can, I think I can, I can, I can, I am, I am. The little engine that could. Coming full circle sounds like a title to a book. There is not enough time in the day anymore for me, as where before I always had way to much time on my hands.

Well Thanks for reading the good news that I received today. If you would like to try and see if you can do the same? http://www.sinbadthesailorman.org

Hey All, How is it Going? Do you Know Popeye?

Well I am going to break down and write a little something about my good buddy Popeye the Sailor-man, we are not mortal enemies  as some would have you think, we are more like  friends who entertain the masses. Kind of like wrestlers do today, but not as close. I have known Popeye, Olive Oly, and the gang for some time now, and I still watch his shows now and again.

He is a Good Guy and a nice enough person and some one who you can look up and to  when the goings gets ruff. He has a fondness for his spinach, it gives him an extra woof when he is down. Yes we compete from time to time for Olive's attention,  after all boys will be boys.

He is quite older than he looks, he has been around seven decades or better now. He is about Seventy -Five years young I believe and still kicking up the dust. He was Initially going to be a short time comic strip, but instead turn in too a pop culture Icon. He has many dedicated fans and a Museum of his works and collector items. He had every kid wanting to eat spinach, as one of my sisters can now proclaim as the plain truth.

She will tell you herself how, Popeye tricked her with the hope of super human strength. As I recall she bugged our mom night and day for about a week, until she got what she asked for. Times were hard back then, as they are today, so the food budget was tight and since she was the only one fooled by this One eyed Sea Dog, she kept up until Dad said Ok and Mom bought it, made it, and she ate it, never the less I don't think she has ever eaten canned spinach again.

I still remember the awful looks and faces she made as she was forced to eat what she asked for. Back then it was terrifying to watch her have to eat that nasty looking canned spinach, but today it makes for a nice little chuckle. I wonder how many other children her age were force into that mistake or if any of them truly fell in love with spinach as did Popeye.

Don't get me wrong I like fresh spinach, but ain't no way I'd eat canned after having to watch that ordeal of my baby sister's. Nope not even if that stuff could make you lite up your pipe and fly through the sky like Superman, not me buddy no way.

Hey some Spinach company picked up on that Cartoon and I think they are still around selling canned Spinach. I think I'll gift wrap some this week and send it to my baby sister wouldn't that be a hoot. Who knows my crazy little nieces just might love canned Spinach.

Well I guess by now you savvy  Marketers know what I just did with this little write here. I have associated myself with Popeye why? You may be asking your selves did he do this. If your not pay close attention to associations, if people are popping up in your searches this is an opportunity to be seen and socialize among and amongst them. How many people search Popeye every day ? I don't know. But I know when I search for Sinbad the Sailor Man. Good old Popeye and Sinbad the Comedian and Sindbad the Sailor all Pop up looking for some attention and Hey turn about is Fair Play. Pay attention to the small details when doing your SEO make them happen naturally if you can. But don't go out of your way to have them Happen at your hands.
