"Is this the Man?" A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Is this the Man?

Why Father why do I still cry?
Why have I not yet, realized
That love, I have never known

Where and when will I let you in
Why do I not bend
Must I wait until the end?

Broken and busted up
An instrument out of tune
When strummed, notes sing out of key

Mercy and Grace
The serpent slid in and took your place
Sin I did, when I lost my faith

I turned and hide my face
I did so with disgrace
No mercy have I yet, found

A fallen angel cast down; unto
This earthly ground and bound
Imprisoned and unfed no, none bread

Hidden within plain sight
Blinded I will not see, Your Light
I am yet, deaf and dumb

When shall I succumb
With nowhere to run
Am I undone?

These Humans bare my tears
I yet, still have no fear
After all these Earthly years

These heathens', their jeers and stares
Shall I entrance them with true care
Do I dare? They must be made too, beware

They can see not, my Father's Light
Accursed, and damned by the man
That old dragon, these men's man, Satan

Oh Lucifer!
Oh Lucifer!
What has thou done?

"Secretly Seduced was She and Then He" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

A Religious Zealot, Sinbad the Sailor Man's Thoughts on What Happened in the Garden of Eden

Reflections on what happened in the Garden of Eden from a very zestful fanatical believer and the Captain of his own Ship, the fair Lady the "Lover of Lost Souls"

 The garden

Secretly Seduced was She and Then He

There was no apple in the garden of figs

No Law, no inhibitions, there was no sin

To begin the Garden was a place created with out

Where nudity was not seen even though every one there was naked

There where, they could freely partake of every tree, except one

Some one there was under the gun

Some one was being tested; he would turn

Heaven is, what Heaven was

The Garden was it not placed here, on this now our earth?

Oh man what a plan and whose it is

How subtle this devil really is, how cunning, and crafty; to destroy our paradise

He sealed his own fate with one sentence

With a gift every man or woman could have wanted; to be Omnivorous

To be as God to have our eyes wide opened to know that which God does

To truly live forgot she of the Father’s warning not to eat or even to touch

This tree of Knowledge of Good and evil

For when you do you shall surely die

God didn’t say when or why, for time was of no matter then

Until they all disobeyed that clock did not start ticking

Satan didn’t want us to live, to partake, or to share; he wanted us gone

And he still does you all should know and be aware

This is why he did what he did

Oh he was most fair to look upon to every one

God himself said he made him the “full pattern”

Even the angels did not dare test him

Further still he did instruct a third of Heaven

Maybe that is why he was there in the Garden ; for instruction

We’ll have to wait till the conclusion of this our story

Oh little children do not worry

I have read the ending to this story; the first book

I eagerly await, to never see its sequel

Amen

"Sixty Seconds Until the Abyss" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Memories Being Devoured by a Sea of Locust, Green Monsters With an Appetite, for Lovers’...

The speed of "Time", in human equations, as too life spans and memories.

"Sixty Seconds Until the Abyss"

Standing up or sitting down, lying flat upon the ground

A grassy knoll or a copper plate, wired to the switch of fate

Coming in, fading out, a loss of focus

Memories being devoured by a sea of locust

Green Monsters with an appetite, for lovers foolish afterthoughts

Glimpses of the past, pheromones have scarred the heart

Dying scenes, pictures torn, not wishing to mourn

The scorn

Seas of blue, egos bruised, a mist, a trip into the past

Lovers history, thirty seconds have past

Twenty seconds more

Convinced they'll walk through the door

Into your Field of Vision, straight into your loving arms

Five clicks of the second hand

You are Walking in a Barren Land

One… two… three, the skies darken

A single click, and you are feeling ill

At last the minute has run it's course

A single wish set free, among-st the many flung into the air

You curse them all with a lisp, yet only sixty seconds have passed

Until the Abyss

"Stay" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

I Wrote You a Song It’s Called; "Were You Kid-napped by King Kong"

Poetry: For fun a little thing I threw together for my eleven year old she likes these kinds of poems and not the ones I write.

"Stay"

Where did you go, where have you been?

I thank God that you’ve, come back again

Why did you leave, was it me? I’ve missed you for so long

I wrote you a song

It’s called; "Were You Kid-napped by King Kong"

Why did you stay away from us; was it me? If it was, I’m so sorry

Are you here to stay? Or in the morning will you be gone?

You know; I love you, so much and I have for so long

I can’t bare the thought of you gone

Please! Come on in, sit right down

Let me go and get you, your crown

Please stay, please stay with me

"Stop Your Whi-ning!" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: For fun! We are so tried of your sad, sad, poems. Give us bright and cheery!

A Poem, I threw together to try and convince my ten year old, I was over her mother.

"Stop Your Whi-ning!"

Oh shut it up already

We are so tried of your sad, sad, poems

Give us bright and cheery

Not that crap sung by O’ Leary!

Have you nothing better to do?

Then cry and cry, over a love that is; over and done!

Good God, get a grip on it son

She must have been something fantastic or maybe

She wasn’t, and you just remember her this way

Stop punishing your self, buddy

Leave that up to some body else!

Go out for a drink, man

Meet someone new

Get with the program son

We are all learning here!

To play this game

You mustn’t give up

Believe in it you must!

Me, I know its tough, but such is life

Next time, just don’ t make em

Your wife!

"The Alliance" ~By Sinbad the Sailor Man

And you would take and I did give; for it was my duty. My eyes delighted in your raw naked beauty.

An Alliance Reborn or Torn Again? Reflections of a Lovers Dance.

The Alliance

All you ever wanted was everything I had
All I wanted was everything you would give

And you would take and I did give; for it was my duty
My eyes delighted in your raw naked beauty

As a blind mans dream seen for the first time
I bled poetry in rhythm and rhyme

My ears sung and hummed
Listening to your eyes, their lies

With every word they almost spoke, the truth
Never felt I the hangman’s noose

My kindness, my haggard appearance
My pride it stiffens and swells

It becomes a Battle Axe
Swung by an unholy man

Only time will heal and tell

The screaming tips of my fingers
Over run my brain, nearly driving me insane

With ensuing flames of anticipation
A sensory over load takes control

Danger grows in leaps and bounds
The speaking of no words; I was confound

Our heated fields of wavering flesh in-twined
As every patch of home-land is explored, then invaded

Trampled with scouts of flesh covered bones
Blood rushing through out our hollowed shells

Emptiness and soundings, remembered smells
A dwelling place between Heaven and Hell

Almost exploding the musk
And the perfume of sweet sweat

The increasing warmth
Raising temps

Swelling silence melts
The brushing of pelts

Buds harden
We two attack the others

With our most deadly lips
We wrestle for our positions

The story unfolds
Boldly it is retold

On their sides
Rolling over

Onto their backs
Yielding to the other

In defeat writs become mangled
Their hands clenched and entangled

No more the aggression
No more possessing

Timing on cue
A lovers dance

Begins or ends again
And then so does

The defiance of
The Alliance too

"Sinbad the Sailor Man's Interest with the "Rhime of the "The" Ancient Mariner" Part 1 Verses 3-4" ~Donnie/ Sinbad the Sailor

Sinbad the Sailor Man's Interest with the "Rhime of the "The" Ancient Mariner" Part 1 Verses 3-4

Now Let Me step Back to the Title of the poem;

"The Rime of the Ancient Mariner"

by Samuel Coleridge

When I first listed the title you'll see I Cap and place another "The" in it Why? You may or may not be asking yourself, did he do this or that.

Why did Sinbad cap the "The" before the "Ancient Mariner" ?

Well, I did this to place a thought into your mind or to activate one, a subtle one, but precise thought.

Thee
The
Thou
the

In my opinion it should of been Capped, but I have not made a study of the time in or the Period or the place, that this poet was in, when he wrote it, and published the write to be read.

The "the" is a small describer as the cat "any cat" jump out of the tree.
Now when we write today Thee 's and Thou's are not commonly used, as back say in this period of time.
Where as one might of implied the ownership or a specific member of the family. Thou's or Thee's cat jumped out of the tree. Which the one being spoken to would of instantly known of who or what was being spoken about.

Another example: The President,; If I were to say this to you, you would Know I meant of Our Country were ever we were from. So parallel this thought, to a Believers Thought.
There is Only One Fallen Cherubim, that could fit this description, and has a crew of disillusioned men Aboard it, his ship this Earth.

"The" a person, place, or thing? a Noun or Pronoun? A specific Somebody in this write I believe. "The" Ancient Mariner. The One, who Sailed away from the Fleet or lost favor with is, A reference to these or those of them that sail with "him" the two hundred others
or in the Bible Seven Thousand.

So this Author put a small "t" a simple trick to fool the attention away from the average reader of the day that this was written in.

A person trying to break any one poets poem down and a part could spend a life time in trying to do so.

This is why I read and re-read the Good Book as I do. Right now I have been and am on a long leave from the reading of it. The Good Book, but this poem has re-sparked a need to re-read it again.

Verse 3 Part I the dissection of "The Rhime of the Ancient Mariner" by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Verse 3 part I

He holds him with his skinny hand,
"There was a ship," quoth he.
"Hold off! unhand me, grey-beard loon!"
Eftsoons his hand dropt he.

Now when I read this verse I see two quotes and two speakers Satan and God
The First being Satan

He holds him with his skinny hand,

He who Holds Him Who with his skinny hand
Remember I see GOD as the Farther Spirit so far

(He is Satan the Mariner who is Holding onto Gods Arm) with his skinny hand. A reference of Power and Might or Gods Power vs Satan's

God the Al Mighty being paused by a fallen one or given time too one of His children.

Note:
Now Satan has GOD's Full attention he proceeds to say and I quote.
"There was a ship," quoth he.
Period complete stop. Why? I believe Satan is Ready his program of lies and
twisting s

Next line.
Quote " Hold off! exclamation point a show of authority is ! the exclamation point
unhand me, grey beard loon! "

{Let ME go you wise Fool !} exclamation point

Eftsoons his hand dropt he.

Immediately his hand removed HE, Instantly GOD removed Satan's Hand

I believe this to be the case. By the structure of the line, most important is the period
and that was That .or that is that Period or even as far as, Amen

He holds him with his glittering eye-

{He who Satan holds him (him who) GOD with his glittering eye- Satan's desire}

Why? It's been a long time since he, Satan has spoke to God with desire

And listens like a three years child:

Every try to hold a three year olds attention?
This is the amount God is giving to Satan and his same old story.

The Mariner hath his will.

He holds him with his skinny hand,
"There was a ship," quoth he.
"Hold off! unhand me, grey-beard loon!"
Eftsoons his hand dropt he.

I make No claims to know or to be any one special in this dissection!

"The Rhime of the Ancient Mariner" by Samuel Coleridge

A dissection by a religious Zealot, the Captain of his own ship, the fair lady the "Lover of Lost Souls" Captain Sinbad, the Sailor Man

A forum I found at http://gradesaver.com/

I will attempt to explain; How I a Man of faith view a poem written by a Schooled man of Faith, and in a time of worries.

This is just some thing that I was struck to do, and so I did it! And I will try to complete the whole write. This is a rather Lengthy Write and this will take me some time to complete, as I am rather busy building my empire .
No offense is intended or was meant I just like this write and what it made me feel and see. Thank you Donnie/Sinbad the Sailor Man

Work In Progress~ "New Poem" Titled "A Dream is A Terrible Thing!"

New Work in Progress A poem I am working on.

"A Dream is A Terrible Thing!"

How Many Visions have I released?
How many have crept in and out of your befuddled minds?
Why have I wasted my Precious Time?

Three Four One
For every hour that I proceeded
Three little One's were Lost
My life of Vanity came at such a great cost

No Heavenly Treasures were yet sown
As my Father tossed skeems and dreams at me
These breadcrumbs succumb
As when or if they are tossed at the birds

I treated the Manna as the feathered beasts
I like them left only turds upon the ground
Mushy wet and messy; crumbs no longer found
Because I succumbed

To the whispering of  and from
The leathery  winged demons
of this
Our Earth

Their leader of their insidious pact
My subtle elder now our brother lost
Such music whispered upon my ears
But only once; yet still their soundings brought me tears

Daze and Confused yet only bruised
I settled when these resistors settled in
They magnified every single doubt within an with out
Melted about; defecated icing to top the cake

They decided they too; would try to train my brain
As did they the crabs from escaping their traps
These my Brothers not lost and yet not forgot
Kept me within their pot

How many chances would I have got?
Farther down the line there would be no more Time
No more wine
No more divine

I knew these things too!
And yet wasted I all kines their dreams and skeems
The very ones even I myself
Dreamed and than waited

Upon
to
Pounce and too
Devourer

"A Tulip is Only, But a Flower"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections about Pro Life in Nature

"A Tulip is Only, But a Flower"

As pretty maids wait in rows, their twists of fate unfold
So then do the desires of these newly conceived flowers
They burst from bulbs and/or sprout from seeds
They proceed on the grounds of mankind's turf
From around and about a dead man's tomb

Or in their mothers womb, our earth
Their budding tells the tale of life's rebirth
Their only worth to be a blessing for the bees
They perfume our world and bring forth new seed
Bright yellows, dark reds, brilliant whites, and deep purples

Accented with stems of green, fresh air is being born
Straight towards the heavens the air, it is sent
Fragile tiny cups, with tales yet to be unfolded
With broken handles gone, no shelf to be put upon
Banishment now made, only lawns of green are seen

When reviled, their scene becomes so serene
So vital they are but, yet when plucked
It becomes so final, they die
Deep within nectar was lain there, inside
Waiting to be supped up by cheery little butterflies

Busy bees and humming birds
Or by those pesky flies use to dinning on turds
Within them lies a mystery, a great debate
By accident, design, or fate
They were seeded and put into play

But, now the ripping of the petals torn, we love them not
Who willed them here, and who decides their fate
Feared  by us, hated by us, and ashamed they made us, its now too late
They whispered, they shouted, let us out, let us be, let us grow
But, no we'll de-seed and have it our way, it is after all our time to live

Ripped from their beds alive, confused and in pain
You tossed us into their bloody metal tray
And then we all are betrayed to the compost heap
What force commanded us to come and grow
The two lips of God, human desires, or evil unseen

It matters not, we will all be feasted upon by  the worms
A Rose is but, a prickly tease
A Danny Lion roars for sure
Because he is just a weed
And Baby's Breath is what? Is not

Another choice played out , how many do we get?
Bounced into play, on bending knees and yet the ball was dropped
So  a tulip is, but a flower
And the oaths of men are, but words
When pulled; they all lie in the dirt, and are lain to waste

"To The End of All Time"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections on the Illusions of Love, When it is First Conceived

"To The End of All Time"

Till the heavens collide

When ashes are raise up

Till the very last day
This is how long I will love you my dear

I swear, I always will
That is what a lover; in love, might could say; if they believed it were true

For they never ever saw farther then the day at hand
This is why I believe they say that love is blind and often unkind

Their love only last until the other soul bleeds and reveals its needs
For when the endless giving ends
The realities sets in

Life is no longer the sweet dream or the fairy tale
Welcome here to the real world; my, dear
It takes tons of hard work and never ending time

To come to the conclusion; that this person
Is the One, and that they are right for you
That they are true

A life time of trying, crying,
Laughing and giving
Need I mention all of the forgiving

If you work at it no matter how rough it gets
This old road will stop giving you fits
But, beware my dear
To those who would  call it quits

One must not give up on these precious little snips
In ones little life; these bits and pieces will soon all add up

A lost love can and  will leave a bottomless pit
A hole in ones heart if you will not stop it

No matter how much one tries to cover it up

The camouflage always falls into that there hole
Tasteless and cold they will become; those kisses and that touch
Eyes may no longer see or reflect

These soft words spoken shall fall

Upon dead ears and the tears, they turn to lonely fears
True love!; now only true love, no matter how fleeting; will last

Through out ones life and to the end of all time

"Forgot-ton"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of Disgust by Love Lost

"Forgot-ton"

Look into your heart

 Through Its endless layers
Where I have been buried

Yet still I am,  alive
 By whatever evil

Being

Turn back the hands of time
To the beginning

Where love bloomed
Forget this doom

 Its gloom
This fake life, you
Have claimed

And
Choose to sustain

One in which you, will not
Utter, my name

Utter my, name
Utter my Name!

Or even think of It
 Least you remember me
Your lover

Although I failed you somehow
Did not a chance remain?

To fix whatever damage, that was done
Blindsided by a big red truck

Swept away, like dirt upon the floor
Flung into the dung-heap

Did you, ever lose any sleep?
One day I was still your lover

And then the other
Forgotten

"No Time Left, But for Yesterdays"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poem: Reflections on the Desires of Times Past

"No Time Left, But for Yesterdays"

We all have heard the great callings, from deep inside our souls
After all, we are; just mortal men, with many, many goals
We have all heard it, over an over again

Until the words; they
Fall upon Defiance’s ear
Which do not and will not, hold

We seek our heart’s satisfactions, without fear of recourse or blame
For we have no shame
Our greedy hearts they can not, be contained

We or maybe just I alone
Do pretend to be
Insane or sane?

I  have had great joy and magnificent sadness, so I am told
That this is; what lead me, to my secret madness, of being so bold
But, the joys have all aged so

And they, have been thrust into
The damning sands of
Old

As for the sorrows, they always seem, to be replenished or retold
I have tremendous fears; of growing older, and losing my sweet mind
But, as for my today’s and my tomorrow’s, I have no concerns, or any  time

I pined and mined for; my yesterdays, as even they have grown cold
I hunt; as a mad treasure seeker would, with a fever for gold
An unquenchable thirst, for sweet wine and a lust for extending my mind

The Treasurer
Of
These only

Remembrances

Of
The
Joy filled times

"Faithfully Named"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A  story of life given in birth and a life taken from death

"Faithfully Named"

As I slept there, with the unknown babe, that was placed at my side
I felt a peace come over me, such that I have never known
For she was delivered late in the night; by God’s saving Grace

She was so tiny, pink, and frail; all alone
Her mother had past, just before her birth
She was our child our first

I had great Hope, that we would all
Be going home
But, we two are now both, alone

She has a head, full of dark and curly hair
She has her mother’s, deep blue mesmerizing eyes
She has my mother’s big old smile

And her mother’s, mother’s nose
She posses all of her fingers and all of her toes
She is; as healthy as an ox, the doctors all say so

That did give me some but, a fast depleting Joy
These tears they; well up in my eyes, and dry
My heart it skips a beat, maybe two

How on earth will I ever manage her, all alone
I do not know what it is, I am suppose to do
I hear that voice and I scold myself

Stop your whining fool
Man up, we have both lost so much
But, we have gained each other too

As the nurse takes her out of, that plastic container
She says as soon as you name her
You may take her home, such a chore I thought

I am paralyzed
We never did decide
Hope, Joy, Grace

The nurse could see
The distress upon my face
And the fear, as I teared

She said: don’t worry dear
It will all work out fine
Just take some time

Your wife; she had such faith, in you
She was a very lovely lady
As she placed you in my arms and then

Quietly she disappeared

The tears hung there for awhile
As I bowed my head, I mutter the words
That the nurse had said

A tear drop, must of landed on your cheek
Because, you had awoken, from your sleep
Such faith in me I said

When faith I said: your blue eyes opened wide

Faith I said again: you gave a little coo

Faith I said one last time: you smiled and I cried
