"Love" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A Poem Depicted as all Over the Place by the Formatting, of "Love" and Its Confusions

A poem that runs all over the page with depictions of "Love"

"Love"

It could happen when unadulterated lust does
So take control of yourselves; you puppies

When you, go out Cat-ting or casting lines

Baiting those hooks and then reeling them in
But, incidentally the same can and often does

Just happen; without trying, it is so mysterious and so unfathomable

Impossible to restrain, hard to obtain, and rarely does it

Remain

With one for a life time

but

Forever it will leave a stain

It can hunger as a pack of starving Tigers

or
even
worst
Hyenas

It’s torments are underrated, its undependable, and uncontrollable

Immovable, unshakable, and lighter than air

By far the best drug I have ever been on

As now I am addicted to it

I would cut my limbs off, one digit at a time

To retain it in it’s purest form

It is when lost, a murderous

Thing, love is

"Stay" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

I Wrote You a Song It’s Called; "Were You Kid-napped by King Kong"

Poetry: For fun a little thing I threw together for my eleven year old she likes these kinds of poems and not the ones I write.

"Stay"

Where did you go, where have you been?

I thank God that you’ve, come back again

Why did you leave, was it me? I’ve missed you for so long

I wrote you a song

It’s called; "Were You Kid-napped by King Kong"

Why did you stay away from us; was it me? If it was, I’m so sorry

Are you here to stay? Or in the morning will you be gone?

You know; I love you, so much and I have for so long

I can’t bare the thought of you gone

Please! Come on in, sit right down

Let me go and get you, your crown

Please stay, please stay with me

"The Forest of Unacquainted, Indistinguishable Love" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: One Night at the Bar!

The Poet recalls one night at the Bar, he was working at, as a Bouncer and/or Cooler.

"The Forest of Unacquainted, Indistinguishable Love"

In/out, through, and around
Nightly creatures do abound

With lustful thoughts between their ears
A tub of desires, exciting fears, bring tears

A bounty of crimson lips appear
Snow white supple skins, unbridled fears

With Golden Beers and Sparkling Wines
Disregarding Inventions and times

Virgins dance, fully adorned deep within
In only their Birth Day Suits, with wide grins they sin

Darting fingers, tongues and cheeks
Wishful Flavors! Oh how the seek

They salivate to, these Virgins and their Fruits
Who continually dance; within only their Birth Day Suits

Their eyes gorge themselves with sins and wide grins
Pleasures unannounced to them, savoring every ounce

Continually they watch as these virgins bounce
As demons ready themselves to pounce

Sharping blades are silently honed, whilst hidden behind trees
Demons ready themselves to pluck fruit from these busy bees

Exploring every crevice, melting ice, learning every vice
Still quivering bodies fall, limp upon the frosting ground

Where these heathens dancing did once abound
Nothing left within them; heavy breathing is now their only sound

These lovers feasted upon this feast
Held in Honor of the beast

This Orgy fest is now depleted
Every spirit is there; too defeated

Unacquainted love was made without text
Twas love made with or without his hex?

Or was it only lust covered dust?

Now comes the beast who would feast upon these that ceased
Saturated gloves, strangulate, limp and spent until their beating hearts cease

Lungs deflated; bodies defiled and decimated
Ruby red rivers flow, the sacrifice is now completed

Twas it held deep within the woods of Love?

"I Pray I Prayed Today" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

A prayer by a wanting soul lost. She was my pride and my joy; she was not a plaything...

A lover's prayer, of want and his souls desire to be as he once was; and still to be loved, by her. She was the “One ” he held so dear.

"I Pray I Prayed Today"

Here me O’ Lord I pray

I do not think I can make it another day

Please return to me the “One” that walked away

She was my pride and my joy; she was not a plaything or wild fling

She was true blue, honest, and sincere

She was the “One ” I held so dear

She bore me two sons and a daughter

If together again, I promise a whole tribe, we will make for you

I deserve no forgiveness or mercy, again I know

Don’t do it for me, but for them

For I love them so

They also desire us to be, as we were

They have told me so, I know welcome here, to the real world

I have no feelings left in my bones, I now survive all alone

All I ever wanted was to be loved

I guess I did not know, what it was or how much it would cost

To lose or to replace it

Help me O’ Lord I pray, for now I am willing to pay

"To The End of All Time" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of Love A New and Then

Poetry: Reflections of love a new and then, lost by an old fool.

"To The End of All Time"

Till the heavens collide
Till when; the ashes are, raised up
Till the very last day

This is how long I will; love you, my dear
I swear, I always will
That is what a lover; in love

Might could say; if they believed
It were true; for they never, ever saw farther then
The day at hand, and again

This is why I believe they, say
That love is blind, and often unkind
Their love only lasts until

The other soul bleeds
And reveals, its needs
For when the endless giving ends

All of the realities set in, life is
No longer, the sweet dream
Or the fairy tale

Welcome here, to
The real world; my dear
It takes tons of hard work

And never ending time
To come to the conclusion
That this person

Is the One; and
That they, are right for you
That they, are true

A life time of trying, crying; dying
Laughing and giving
Need I mention, all of the forgiving

If you work at it,
No matter how rough it gets
This old road, will stop giving you fits

But, beware my dear
To those who would, call it quits
One must not give, up on

These precious little snips
In ones little life; these bits
And these pieces, will soon add all up

A lost love can, and will
Leave a bottomless pit
And place a hole, in ones heart

If you will not stop, it up
No matter how much
One tries to cover it, up

The camouflage always, falls
Into that there old hole
Tasteless and cold

They will become bold
Those kisses and that touch
Eyes, no longer see fit to feel; or to touch

These soft words spoken, shall fall
Upon dead ears and there, will be tears
They will turn too, now lonely fears

True love!; now only true love,
No matter how fleeting; will last
Through out ones life, and

To the end, of all time

"Today"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

"Today"

Today the sky is blue, the grass is green, and our society is mean

Life is short and love is sweet

So love awhile and live awhile

For tomorrow the sky darkens, the grass browns

Love turns to hate and dismay

This life that we have come to know will cease to exist

So love and live today, for tomorrow

We die

I guess this is just to say

That this world of ours is near too

It's Grand Finale

And

Soon it will come to pass

A giant Atomic; blast which too will not last

No!  But, One much greater

Then this world of men, will be at its end

"My Locked Up Heart"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

My Locked Up Heart

Moonbeams and sunlight, one is always trying to drown out the other

A continual fight by the light of day or the dark of night, homage paid

Games I would not play, is this why you went away?

I told you so many times, there is no other love like mine

It lies beneath in a still and silent mountain, like a dormant volcano

The silent mountain, is all that you see but, beneath a sea of lava

Full of bright reds and oranges and the occasional yellows and blues

Once the furnace stops glowing, blowing ashes, and gray dust hardens into blacken sand

I will love you, I always have and I always will, at least the you that loved me

I know it still lurks, deep inside of you, like my injured soul does me

But, I fear it may be lost forever, in a pool of your falling tears

In your fractured heart it lies, as you do, to your new man and he tries

So hard he tries, to keep it all together but, hear me my lover, once it does explode and it

Will, into millions of pieces I know this, because mine has already done so

Once it does explode, the tears shall truly come, once you realize what we, have done

No matter how well maintained the fractures are, it will break, your heart

Maybe not here in the open

And maybe no one will be able to tell, except me

But, beneath in my locked up heart, yours will need replacing

So let it be me, please! I will give you mine again

"As In the Garden"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Life Associated to and With a Garden

"As In the Garden"

Love trusts

Good deeds

And

Weeds

In life we know but, two certainties

We know them well

And

Fear

Like the garden is

So is ones mind

And

Relationships

It must be tended to

They must be weeded, seeded, watered

And

Fed

Most of all they need to be groomed

Dying is easily done

Never failed has any one?

It is in the living, that we lose most

Of our time

And

Mind

Digging about

Planting, reaping, mending

And
Throwing things out

Sorting, courting, and breeding

Often leave a soul or lead a soul

To bleeding

To all things there is a season

Spring, a time to find love

To swim in it and play

Summer, a time to get things done

To gather in your Life’s work

To have some fun

Fall, it is a time to reap

And

Keep

Your just desserts

Winter, is the time to retire

And

Rest

In your own way

So we need to tend to

Our gardens

Or else

We will end up

With

Nothing, but weeds

Then who will trust in us

In you or I

Will there be any trust

No, not by any

One of

Us

"Sinbad's Misery"~ A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Of a Lost Love One

"Sinbad's Misery"

You are always on my mind
I can not break these ties, that bind

I can not keep you, from slipping in
You are my lover, my… my friend

Although it is a relief for me
Temporarily, relieved; freed

From time to time I keep time, yet still I am
Letting  you, silently slip back in

It seems, only and too often  I’ved
Sailed these Forbidden Seas

Encompassed by the pain, with
The jealousy, and plain old disdain

With never a hint of empathy
You showed me, no sympathy

The torment will not relent
Or was it too, heaven sent?

Your smiles traverse me so
Into my simple mind and my soul

Exploding, each and every memory
Every dream, I have ever dreamt of you

No comfort can I find, for still
I am a bit, dazed and confused

Still; not over you
Will I, that I’d never be, over you?

I can’t let you go
When will this tragedy play out?

Have you forgiven me?
Do you still remember me?

When did you stop loving me, with all of your heart?
Was it something that I done or that we could have fixed?

Why wouldn’t your kiss, be goodbye?
Was this one; at last too, that little lie?

It could have given me; a place, to start
Mending my broken soul and mine  heart

I forgiven you my dear
I’m forever wishing you were here

This is the end of me, my mate
Looks like love has sealed It my fate

Oh how I wished; you would have
Plunged that steel dagger, into me

You will see, I will love you
Forever and a day

"All of The Grey That Matters"~ By Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: Reflections of a Suicide

"All of The Grey That Matters"

Red blood wine, and wasting time
Crying for; a love like yours and mine

One that will never be again
One that will never end

Rivers of tears
Seasoned with fears

A whisper of, Thees kissed
That so desperately is missed

Elusive dreams and hints of
Scenes; that have since past

The terrors of those forgotten scenes
That.. will.. never.. be, again

Insights into what is in store
For a man floored; and in pain

He tries and tries and
Yet, he can not refrain

From these images of; his love
Sneaking around in his misery

He uses them, as you did him
He holds them; prisoners all

As he does you; just as in the past
The love, that wouldn't last

His heart is shattered like the crystal glass
Splintered by a high sped note; which forever sung

Whistling out in the barrel of a gun
Every little shard; falling hard, and wet

Discarded and then sent
To the dust cover floor

These shards, land in a spray
With the Un sipped blood red wine

There they are, forever mixed
With all the “Grey Matter”; that was

All that mattered, to the decease man
Forever mingled; with his life's blood

And the sweet red wine

Love that aged; too soon, upon the vine

Distasteful Lies and Butterflies

Poetry: Reflections on a Father's Love

As I sat in an uneasy chair, distraught with anger and despair

Next to our daughter in the ICU and all I thought about, was you

I told our little one: ”All would be fine in time”

That's what I said: I told her she was too young, too sweet, and too dear

For the Lord not to leave her here, this world needed her: I said

I told those distasteful lies, for down in the pit of my soul, I felt the butterflies

For I knew all too well that she would be taken and soon

As I sat and kept watch over her she nodded off to sleep

The “Angel of Death” he came into the room, near unto us

I grabbed for his bony hand I caught it! And I held on tight to it!

I would not let it go, a death grip I had placed upon It

He had to known the mistake he was about to make

I had hope that I could make him understand but, I could feel her fate

My soul cried unto It's self please! Just this once Dear God cut me a break!

The loss of another, I or this angel could not take!

See I said: I lost her mother some years ago

Though she stands here by our daughter now and with her new man

As they gazed at me; her hand in his, their pretenses and presents

Shook me to my very core

For I myself stood looking down at my flesh and looking up into Heaven's back door

I bent over and whispered into my daughter's ear

I told your mom I'd be fine

Don't worry about me this time!

Dear one; I am use to being left behind

Those butterflies leaped out from my chest, but only one tear drop mounted upon my right cheek

I doubt that she saw it; as she had nodded back off to sleep

I slept with the angels last night mom

She told her mother of her last dream

Where is dad?

The curtain was drawn

I wish he was here with us now

I thought I saw him leave, with the most beautiful nurse

Why would he go and do that, to me?

He told me not to worry

He said: that your new man would care for us now

That he caught a break and he had to take it, that he'd be gone for along while

He said that he'd be able to see us whenever he wanted, and that we could only picture him here

He said that he was sorry for all that went wrong

To think of him often for it would not be long

Till we are all back together again, as it was suppose to be

Little Peggy drifted back to sleep

Then they wheeled her father's carcass out the door

When we arrived at the back door of Heaven

I was still clutching that angel's bony hand

We were stopped instantly! And so I begun my plea, I told Saint Peter, I was so sorry for being late

His reply to me; was: “Oops there goes a butterfly” and then he motioned us over

On our knees we fell at once I begged for forgiveness and I told him of the lie

Saint Peter smiled and said; “An unselfish act can't be undone my son”

I saw him look down his nose and over my shoulder; at the angel, who was behind me now

“For once you crossed this threshold your soul has won"

With that said, he pushed me in and slammed the front gate

It Seems to Me

Poetry: Another of this Authors, Poems from Night School 1981-82

That air is free, but the beer is not

Love is for the taken, but it can be bought

Friends are like flowers, they bloom and multiply

But, all too often they soon wither and die

Only to be re-lived in ones cluttered mind

It seems to me that

Life is not meant to be judged or dissected as some often do

But, it is to be enjoyed by me and you

For it is, but a brief moment in this time and space

That we all have

No one, but God knows his plan

He numbers the hairs on each head and every grain of sand

He placed the moon up above it gives off, just the right glow

Romantic some might say, so

So why do we explore the space up above

Let us stay down to earth, and explore this thing called love

The Love Doctor

Love at First Sight;

Chocolate candy, wine, and Brandy
Fire light, candles lit, have a little sip
This girl is really fine
I met her at the grocery store

On my way up from off of the floor

I was there picking up, wine and chocolate candies
That’s were I so ungracefully, picked up my girlfriend’s, daughter

Exchanged some looks this cashier and I
I don’t  disbelieve in love at first sight, anymore

There
Something did spark
It must have been a lark
But then
I took my girlfriend’s daughter home

Soon after
I got a call on upon the telephone

I told my girlfriend that
I had lost my wallet… or did I ?

Just so
You know
That I am not a Cad
But
A good Lad

My girlfriend is just a friend
And
Her daughter is only three

But
Brandy she
Now longs to be
With me

You See
I was sent to the store
for
To get the wine

For my girlfriend was
Called into the hospital
Because
She is an E.R. Doctor

I think my Doctor friend
Has set me up!

God bless, you
My Love Doctor

Rag-a-Muffins

A Fathers Day Poem

AdChoices
Today they say; that, I… that, I
Was never around much and such
My heart it slowly sinks down, down
Into what is left of these dear hearts
I knew better and yet still
I did feel that they were right

They were just and to young
To remember, my babies, our lives
So tender and so tendered they were
Forget about, my new budget of time
And I would have to say they were right

If only I could bend this weary mind of mine, If only
They can’t recall within them, all of the time I spent
The millions of hugs and kisses exchanged
This bankers only Heaven I can not rearrange
Notes; not one of them, was even seven yet

The dancing done in our halls
The shopping in the malls
Nights spent up, when they were ill
Their refusals to swallow the whole pill
Not to mention the mixing of formulas
A chemist I became and a garbage man too
I had become, the mountains of smelly diapers
And I the family’s Major General of bottom wipers

They forget how they had fallen for me, fast and asleep
And when that their dad was cool, sweet, and neat
The bread winner then the full course, a bum today
Divorced; oh how the times, they do sway my little sheep
In these their daddy’s arms, they would all fall, to weep
When mommy said no or a simple frustration instead did creep

Their bumps and bruises mended and all kissed; and now
I receive the cuts without band-aides, and with no amends
But, even so and though they… they are all puffed up
They all still play; within my mind, each and every day
As I remember them, their buggered noses, booger-ed up

And those wiggling toes my little Rag-a-Muffins they’ll stay
Puffed up today by what they were told, to believe
By one wounded soul or another; both did, but bled
But yet, I’ll blame their mother or any other deceived
For time has sold them, all three, and even me
This fruit has fallen far from its tree

But always and forever more
I will seek these memories sore
For sown into these memoirs of mine they soar
Kay, Kay is only nine months old, he is the youngest one
And my Curly Top who refused to stop until she’d drop
She is only eighteen months and still a little dream
Daddy’s little man is only five years young and on the run
Jake is his name he was always the first one to go to sleep
The big brother and aide to his mother
I wouldn’t have desired any other

He so loved his baby brother and sister way back then
As time tore away, at sweeping and weeping sores
Daddy became a bore and a chore, so little time was spent
His children no longer sent, until one day
In no time at all, did not any one of them come to call

The quiet years brought many tears
Where is God in this, their old man mutter
And yet not one word of Pray did he ever utter
Until one day the fear raged and tears, they flew
On failing knees bent he, and recalled the Muffins sent
The stolen little ones whose time brought such joy
One daughter and two true blue boys

There bed time stories and prays replayed
Daddy’s Rag-a-Muffins never once forgot
To mention him there in their prays
On their bended knees they’d pray
While down on the ground was he
He whispers a little prayer, that they’d all pray

God bless mommy and daddy and we three
The Old man began to state his  final plea
Lord I am a fool, a hard headed man and dreaded
Please change this old soul this Ole soul of mine
Bless your son and me too, for I am so blue
A sinner undone I must be one of yours, who was lost
I now make your son my boss
Oh my Lord I will mind
Chase me around your house no longer
And let us sing and dance with praise
Return me to all, to whom I am lost this day
In Jesus name I pray;… Amen

As the man stands and gets to his feet
There came a small tapping at the silent door
He could not believe his ears was this his door?
The tapping brought a rush of tears and fears
Quickly he proceeded to the door
When opened it, he did a crowd rushed in

Three Rag-A-Muffins per each set
His muffins have all come home in sets
And not a single one of them, was there alone
All soundly married with three Rag-a-Muffins of their own
They came to wish there, their old man a happy Fathers Day
His fifty-sixth, and his best one yet!
