Poetry: This is an opening for a Book Ideal this author has been kicking around.
This Author has been working on a Story, called "The Poet, a story of Biblical per portions" and this along with some of his other poems are contained within its story line.
"Sinbad the Sailor Man"
Who is he? Some have asked, some have known
They have for some time, that he is, an all-in one
An original, a shinning gem
Among mere mortal, men
An extraordinary, UN-ordinary
One of a kind, yes; he is
Over kind; a big teddy-bear; masquerading in
The Reaper’s shroud; with a sickle in his hand
It’s only a staff, that he holds
He guides and commands, the older and younger man
The self proclaimed; “Captain” of this stolen vessel
The fair Lady; the “Lover of Lost Souls”
Formerly known as the masters; flag ship
A massive Four Mast, also a one of a kind
She Boast, forty-four cast iron cannons
Sixty-two hands; and a miss fitted Lass
Posing as she is, the Captain’s cabin boy
Sinbad, none the wiser; for she has
Her own agenda, for this ships crew, and
Their Captain; he sails the oceans blue
For he was once a married man
A father of four, lovely daughter’s
And of, one handsome young man
He himself, is his mother’s only son, but
They were all lost, on another shore
While doing this his King’s bidding
But, no more, now he serves his own
Whims and sins and is empowered by the winds
With his true and loyal men
All for one; but, not one; a deceiver
She; a would be betrayer, is she
She has fallen; and she has failed
Her King, and no longer is she willed
Now serves she; her, Captain
To whatever end, becomes them
They all shall willingly, die
Following the lead, of Sinbad
Their Captain
