Poetry: A Warning About Another Poem From That Religious Zealot Sinbad the Sailor Man With a Tiger, Monkey, and Pink Elephants?
"*Warning* Poem in Progression!"
Warning hazard area, a head
The disturbing things running round in ones head
Pink elephants and white lies
Long drawn out stories and alibi’s
Defining what is what and who is who
What in this world are we suppose to do?
Are we faithful or not?
Do we create only to destroy Oh boy!
Here we go again being much more than we have ever been
The tiger said: to the monkey, with a half shaded grin
I have never sinned
Come down eh and lay with me let us be more then we are meant to be
There is no King in this our jungle no rules to befuddle us
No ruler to muddle us let us be friends and the monkey thought
No way Hosea, you will eat me up! You are a tiger and I am your meal
This is the Law in this our jungle so seys the man
Who wears you for a frock I can read between your lines
I wish not to be caught up in your throat
So the tiger walked away and the monkey lives another day
Until the return of the son of man when all will be Friends or dust
The consuming fire returns as do the worms
A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man
