"Sea of Learning" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry: A religious Zealot's zeal

The zeal of a religious Zealot and the truth he has gleamed from the Good Book's verses and poetry.

"Sea of Learning"

Truth be it known to those only, who think they, themselves are wise
Would scare them from Death and his fields, because of his lies and their size

Some will never know where they have come from until the end
Some will never believe; that they are being deceived, although deep down it is known of by men

The Word has been given. To those who have ears may they hear
Those who will seek, they shall find, if they have a mind they must share

Deception lies everywhere, so things they must be reproved
This world of ours is just now getting into this groove

Mis-believers abound everywhere, in churches, communes, in temple mounts
Even the atheist he shouts. What is this god that you preach about?

Three earth ages so shall it be known, that some day we may all go home
The thing has been set into motion, placed there with a great devotion

Planned out to the last detail, from the foundations unto the Throne, and then theres a Corner Stone
From the snails who carry their homes upon our Lord’s back, to the lions who did attack

The most beautiful Boast he is yet, set to come first; and in the Likeness
Of not himself; but as that of, the bright and morning star, the “Son of Man” THE True Lamb

Even as the sun it self may bow unto him, Beloved do not be deceive, this is his last defensive move
The Lamb of Life must be proved, so flying away is a great bust, in the True God a testimonial you must!

You shall be brought up onto “Death” But he is yet power-less, from the Lamb not one hair may he pluck
Satan the Prince of Darkness, the keeper of the gate, has at last succumb to his Fate

The two Witnesses of the time, he has laid them to rest, so we are put unto the test three days shall pass before that last trump
The blazing flame of truth; now He our Savior is known, the seven thousand beguile are struck, instantly dead

Satan the Prince of Darkness is now chained to his gates, of Hell and awaits down in the pit One Thousand Years

Because, jealous of the Lamb and His Father’s Great Plan, Satan was placed there with a band
That every mortal soul may have this gift of Salvation, the millennium it was planned

For the unknowing souls, that they may also be proved, so then; all souls may know to whom they will choose
This season now over, Lucifer is set loose to reveal his tares, their angles shall gather them up; for they are not squared, Set lose are God's Angels Beware you tares!

Then the Judgment will set the Kingdom up, The Lord shall set the chaff upon the fire and gather up the wheat

Therefore be it known! The Heavens have been purged! And true life may be again, right here at home

For all great and truthful things; belong to the Father, my… Our Loving God

Poetry: The never ending struggle to go on.

The poet again, wanting and waiting upon his lost love.

"I continue too"

I continue to curse, my ears and eyes, for

They would not or could not hear your cries

Mine eyes, neither seen or saw your pain

I curse, the nose upon my sadden face, for it so misses your perfume

As I sit here now, and remember our love, in these empty rooms

I can feel my pending doom, in this a now darkening world

I give in to the things; which once kept me from being, half way pure

More then half of my, soul; have you torn, from this my body

It is so hard now, to care what the others might or may say

For I still miss you to this very day

I never sing or dance any more; it is all I can do, just to pray

I see now that, even God would have a chore, in returning you to me

Sweet earthly girl, I could not share with you, who I truly was, before

Only glimpses could I give to you and to the world

I knew that,... that would simply not do, for you

I curse that we come from different worlds

I curse that awful, rotten, dirty, day; that you upped and walked away

The wings that still remain yet hid, flap no more

I curse that I am unable to; stop loving

"O lie! O lie! Outs Come Free! Run Donnie Run, Run as Fast as You Can" ~by Sinbad the Sailor Man

O lie! O lie! Outs come free! Run Donnie run, run as fast as you can.

These were the sounds echoing, around in my brain quietly, as I slipped into my past, while driving past, that old Harbor Town, where I spent most of my Summer vacation days, at my Grandparent's house. There in their side by side house, not an apartment, but a house with a yard. In the Harbor Town of East Chicago, Indiana. The town was near the Inland and US Steel Mills and too near to those stinking old tanks, of the Standard Oil's Company, all three were minutes from the “Lake” Lake Michigan.

Cheese burgers and home made, “Frenched fries” my Grandma, would cook.

As we were all, out back in the circle, as we use to call it, way back then. Playing the worlds most famous and greatest game, or so we all thought. Anyways; Kick the Can Man! Kick that can! These blocks in this old Harbor town were all Company Homes at one time or another; for the Inland Steel Company's employee's I think.

My Grandfather worked there as a Crane man, running steel coils in and out of the five block long warehouse. He worked all day long with these coils, taking them off or putting them on, the endless rows of semi trucks. The Mill was working then. And we would wait all day long for Grandpa to come home. For then the fun really begun.

We throw some Jacks or Pick up Sticks and then bounce our Super Balls...

But, for just plan fun while killing time. We throw some Jacks or Pick up Sticks and then bounce our Super Balls and then spin our Tops. We were always checking with Stinky Ecklemen to see what time it was, for time never seem to move back then, It barely crawled. And he was the only one of us, with the famed Super man watch, that we all loved to watch him open and read, for it never failed.

We always got to hear the traditional Up, Up, and away! These front porches on these duplexes, were made of solid rock, or just plain old concrete. Depending on whose house it was and or if it was remodeled yet. For the neighborhood was changing and fast. Because everyone had cash, and yet they all collected stamps. Green Stamps I don't quite remember why, for they all were the same, They all had the same S&H on them, but every adult madly collected them.

Waiting, waiting, and waiting and it never seems to stop, it's not even, noon yet!

Well Grandma's done with the laundry now. We might catch the down town bus and go to the Five and Dime. That was always a very good and fun time. Or we could be walking down to the A&P the only grocery store one should shop at, you know or at least Grandma thought so.

She may need some Wonder bread and that old Blue Bonnet butter and I know for sure we need RC cola. Gee I hope we get to go some were today. I could use some more base ball cards and I am out of Bubble gum, any ways. Maybe the new Match Box car or another Hot Wheels is on display today. I can only pray. Gee I hope we get to do some thing today.

Butterflies and Bubbles every where

Well hoping didn't do anyone any good, I guess I should of prayed. No Five and Dime, No shopping and no RC cola. The tears they sprouted from my eyes, as Grandma told me this horrible news. But only till she, my Grand mom mixed me up some bubbles, for my magic wands. I so remember super bubbles and their magic bubble wands?

One was just a big circle or hoop. And it would make giant bubbles, after you dipped it into the magic plate, of course every one knew about them then. For really big they were; every single one of them was really large, a super bubble. My other wand it was drilled into, a billion tiny wholes. And millions of bubbles shot out from it.

As I would wave it around and around. Those bubbles were glittering, rising and floating all around, and then falling back down to the ground. Whoa whats this? The ground began to move and then it flew away, it was alive with butterflies hundreds of thousands of them on that day. Black and orange with spots of gray those darned fool things. They all flew away, every one of them after giving me a fright, as they took to the skies and flew straight towards my eyes.

Well it's nearly four and the guys are really sore at me,..

Well it's nearly four and the guys are really sore; at me they are sore, as I tell them hey. I said: I just don't know, if I can play today. I told them I want to rest up some. Before my Grand Pop he comes home. And today is the day! I reminded them that today is the day!

Ah come on Don come on, come and play, it won't take all that long. We need some one who can run. No one runs as fast as you. And no one every gets a hold of you. We'll never win with out you, come on, Don! It's Kick the can! Man its, Kick the Can! Your Grand Dad wont take it off with out ya.... You'll get to see what is under that old stupid tarp, you know you will.

Just what was under that so important tarp?

You, Shall Know Them by Their Fruits

You Shall know Them, by Their Fruits
Test them and their suits

True this world is full of darkness and deceptions
But, it is only so because of all of the perceptions

Most think they know one thing or another
Never bothered by the thoughts of any other

Whether butter side up or buttered side down
Wars may be started because of laughter or frowns

Mocking that what others may believe in or that which they don’t
It only serves one as a kingdom's, forbearing mote

My God is alive! He is love with out hurt or size
Unlimited to do; as some have said and surmised

But, truly they have not yet seen, the completed truth
They only assume, and have not yet found the root

There is truly only one Son who happens to reside in every one
There can be no secrets hid from him for he is you, my son

There are no sexes there, there are no tears there
We are all one and yet we are not, yet there

Truth comes by belief, healing and relief
Strife is giving by sowing unwanted seed

We all reap what we sow, here in this life that we all know
So I believe in streets paved with gold

What harm is it that I share?
As long as I do it with care

It is true I have suffered much
But, no more then the rest of the bunch

We are all nuts, berries and signing canaries’
Birds of a feather they shall flock together

Separated only by our songs, yet we all fly
We all shall live and we all shall die

Only some will choose to forever sing
In a gilded cage set free from their wing

Released from the Father’s nest
Just Cuckoo's; wearing skins as vests

Google Is At It Again If You Want to Keep Seeing This Blogs Post! You Need to Join Google!

In 2011, we announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites.

We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts.

Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account.

So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.

As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs.

At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.

We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog.

With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.

"The Vault" ~A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man

Poetry; Reflections of a Favorite Appliance, at a Favorite Loved One's Home

From the mid Fifties through the Early Sixties a special Appliance was fondly remembered around a table one night, which lead to this write.

"The Vault"

It was not as big as Fort Knox
But, at times it seemed to be
As filled; but It did not hold, all that much

Nothing as precious as the Nation’s gold
Though at times; it, was as guarded
As if, it were or did

What was kept within this secluded box?
White and chrome with accents of gold
Stuffed in the basement behind, the bar’s shielding sight

Things kept in the dark;
Where children did not dare to go
At least not alone, or by their selves

Most of the time, it was a magical drink
Kept ice cold and bottled in glass
Sometimes sweets from a far off land

And even lambs, hams, and turkeys
Cookies of every shape and size
Colored eggs, though not by Faberge`

No, but still as golden to us, at least
How could this simple old woman;
Who lived mostly by herself

Amount such fortunes, and
Now a days, I can’t even fill my, Refrigerator
Modest and humble was she, and

This magical box, it sat almost empty
Throughout the year, until some special day
Would come around, and then wham!

Over night it was,magically filled
Even over stuffed, with stuff
As were the cabinets in her old house

Food would lay every where, as well as furs
Minks and leather robes and coats;
People would come from across the sea, too

To see; this hidden box
Tucked away
In her basement

And when they, had all left
Emptied of its contents, it always was
She had given everything, away

But, enduring the rest of the year
Only the Royal Crowns, jewels that they were, to us
And the Golden Beers; our uncles, favorites

They would always magically appear;
Kept there, ice cold and never frozen
In this unnatural, Natural Gas

Ice Box!

Doctor bills, can’t afford my pills

Kids complain

Feel so glum, old Satan has won

Don’t know when I’ll be up again

This stupid plight, no end in sight

My darling she; is gone, where did I go wrong?

Daddy is near; he’ll see you soon

Oh damn, another red light

Squealing tires busting glass

As the Poet speaks to his inner being, he sees his life and the Illusions of it; while living it.

"Life's Illusions"

There is no fooling a just and truthful soul
One grounded and one who is truly sold

In life’s illusions only contusions are found
Scrapes and scars upon many bodies abound

For is it easier to believe in fairy tales
Then in honesty or in this simpletons, truths

Heaven only knows, what is the simple truth
Lies from the beginning angels fear to tell

To tread upon these others; and their toes
For each has turned upped their supercilious nose

Are roses truly red?
Is any one truly dead ?

If not, then when in hell did they go?
Is life for real, tell me angel what is the deal?

Who on earth runs this show?
I’ve only questions unanswered

Your smiles have me confound
If I thought it prudent, I’d smack you too, to the ground

Who do you work for and what is your pay?
I’ve grown mighty weary of bending my knees to pray

Day by day I wonder about this sacrament-ed ground
I find only images faded upon the mounds

A steeple no one will chase
A spire never higher

A broken rainbow
With no pot of gold, aglow

If then, only I could know
Which illusions will steal us back this show

I could believe in thee once more; whoever you are
I’d bend my knees and bow my head to the floor

Once again this life’s illusions
Have me on the mends

I have sunken here so deeply
That I’ll come up with the bends
